What Was the Last Movie You Watched?

Been bingeing Netflix's "How to Get Away With Murder" starring Viola Davis. I know it was originally on broadcast TV, but I missed it when it ran there. Bingeing is so much more satisfying anyway. We watch 2-3 episodes a night, no commercials.

I finished The Watcher last night. It's a seven part series on Netflix starring Naomi Watts and some guy who reminds me of '70s actor James Farentino. The characters are interesting.

I watched "Hidden Figures," on TV the other night.

Several friends had recommended it to me when it first came out, but I had avoided it thinking it would just make me mad.

I was wrong. I did get mad when the women were mistreated or underestimated, but those feelings were followed with so many uplifting moments as they broke barriers and won respect that it was overall a very "feel good," movie for me.

The three women featured (this is a true story) were not only brilliant mathematicians, they were truly inspiring people in every way, patient, forgiving, self-sacrificing and always putting the importance of their jobs at Nasa, and the safety of the astronauts, ahead of everything else. I'm just in awe of them.
Agree completely. Excellent movie!

I watched it about two years ago, and thought to myself, more folks ought to see this movie! Absolutely one of the best that year!

I just got home from watching The Fabelmans at the theatre. It wasn't exactly what I thought it would be about, but it was a good movie. I thought it ended too soon, meaning it stopped when Spielberg was about 23 or so... more about his personal family life than the ads had focused on.

A Love Song; 2022; 1 hr., 21 min; recorded it off the Showtime channel; kinda disappointed in it. All the acting was great, especially the 2 leads, Dale Dixon and Wes Studi; just felt like a let-down to me.

This week marks the 75th anniversary of the release of Treasure of the Sierra Madre so I watched it on HBO/Max. The print version that is offered there is outstanding. I had not watched the movie in years and forgot what a great movie it was and how many popular references come from that movie and are still used even to this day.

'All Quiet on the Western Front' on Netflix. Been watching all I can about WWI (movies & docs) never knew that much about that period. Seen all 3 versions and by far the latest is probably the most realistic, but very graphic. It's not for the weak of heart. Is it real, is anything on film real?
