What Was the Last Movie You Watched?

“Maleficent” It came on TV and I started watching it and couldn’t turn the channel. Angelina Jolie was great in the movie and the computer graphics were unbelievable. I highly recommend watching this movie. It kind of took me back to my childhood when I had an imagination that would run wild at times. I don’t know who the young blonde girl is in real life, but she reminds me of a former girlfriend. She has such a beautiful smile that made my heart yearn to go back to the earlier years of my life. I know there’s a Part II, but I don’t know if it will be on TV. If not, I will either rent it or buy it.
I also liked "Maleficent" a lot. Thought it was very creative to offer a backstory on that character. Agree AJ played it well. Will have to look for part 2. Thanks for the tip.

Greenland
Disaster movie about an Earth destroying comet heading our way.
Never held my interest, much of the movie was shot at night, so almost impossible to see anything. I really dislike movies where it is majorly dark.
Not recommended by me.
Hubby and I watched this a while back because we like Gerard Butler but we were disappointed in this movie. It was kinda boring :(

Black Adam from DC Comics. Kind of at the bottom of DC's film collection. Constant action, but no story, and a waste of Duane Johnson's talent. I wish he would not have made that film, although it will probably just be a temporary set back.
Thanks for the heads-up on this one. We've enjoyed several DJ movies (Jungle Cruise is very enjoyable with Emily Blunt) and I've been debating on renting Black Adam from Prime. Guess I'll keep my money.

Bad Grandpa, hilarious film! I’d seen it before, many times but I was reminded of it from another thread.
Oh boy! I thought you were referring to Dirty Grandpa with Robert DiNiro.....I couldn't watch that film after the first 20 minutes.. I love DiNiro, but thought he stooped low with that film. I heard he needed cash, so agreed to the role.

The Banshees of Inisherin

This movie is up for some Academy Awards, although I don't know what for... hopefully not for best picture because that was one miserable movie. Good performances, though, by several of the characters, but man... what a miserable movie.

On Prime, 10 Percent. This is the British version based on the French show Call My Agent. Eight episodes. Really enjoyed it. Hope there’s a season 2.
