2023 - How's the Weather Where You Are?

Cold, 16F, but not so cold as it was.

Good news - today we hit 100% of normal seasonal snowpack in the mountains!! And we still have a couple of months of snowfall to go. One good year like this will not end the drought, but it sure will help. The black line in the figure is this year, the green one the median, and the upper highest on record.

Too frickin cold....right now 4F -16c
My apt. bldg issued notice to keep our thermostats at minimum 20 C, 68F, as our heating pipes are in danger of freezing and bursting which means apartments would be flooded. That would be a catastrophe in a building with 100 units.
The usual thing is to worry about fire, now it is flooding.🙀

A nice rebound from frigid temps we had for 2 days, forecast clouds/ sun temps in the 40's
I'm glad I don't live on top of Mount Washington in New Hampshire, a new record low on Fri -108{ 78C} that's really BRRRRRR!

From a friend in New Hampshire. 🥶🥶🥶🥶

The Arctic air that descended on the Northeast on Saturday brought dangerously cold sub-zero temperatures and wind chills to the region, including a record-setting wind chill of minus 108 degrees Fahrenheit (minus 78 C) on the summit of Mount Washington in New Hampshire.

I heard that on the Weather Channel ... Unbelievable! .... just cannot imagine dealing with that type of COLD!
Probably not too many people up there. ⛄☃️
