Everything in Life is Temporary and It's True

Everything in the state that it exists at this moment, may be temporary.
But the atoms that make up everything, so far as is known now, exist
in some form or other, permanently. Things just get recycled. Matter,
of which everything is made, can't be completely destroyed, it's permanent.
Except that matter can be converted into energy, and vice versa. per Einstein's equation E = mc^2.

Someday, I may look like this-

I can't give a smart or witty answer. I can't tell a joke or give a riddle to figure out. The only thing I can say is with every passing day, I feel more anxiety, more fear about what is to come. We all know we will die, leave this place but we don't know when, how or where. That bothers me, makes getting through each day difficult. I want to be prepared, ready. I do not want death to sneek up and surprise me. I hate that the only choice, if we want to be in control it is to take matters into our own hands. No, that won't do, we all have to wait but we at least know it will happen. When you really accept that fact you can put aside all the pretense, masks you wear, and just be, no need to impress anyone. In the end we all will face the same fate.

Am I the only one who thinks about this? Am I the only one that is afraid? Yes, it is true, I spend to much time alone but this is my life now, not what I wanted, expected, I just have to deal with it.

I'm so sorry you feel this way. I've felt that way as well, but when I think about dying I just think about all the incredible experiences I've had in my life and how full it has been. I've made mistakes, but I wouldn't do anything over because everything I did made me the person I am today.

Think about all the positives in your life over the years. Think about what you've accomplished as a wife, mother, daughter, etc. Think about everything you have been privileged enough to do that maybe others haven't had the chance to experience. Write down every day what you are thankful for. Hopefully that will help.

I know I have had a good life, lucky to not have to worry (yet) about retirement. I do live alone now so I often feel anxious and afraid. Yes, there is no reason but it is always right there under my skin, sometimes to the point of unbearable. Yes, I have seen the doctor, I have Xanex but I do not take it unless I can't calm myself.

No, you're not the only one who is afraid of death and nothingness. I am too. But I fill my days with as much as possible to counteract this negativity. We attract the thoughts we think and the ideas we focus on and envision into our reality so if you keep your thoughts filled with joy and health you will attract these things into your own reality. As long as you are living and breathing it does matter.

Well firstly, atoms (and its constituents) and photons (light) are not the same types of particles, but yes one can be converted into the other. And secondly, if the universe/multiverse is infinite and eternal (as some scientists postulate) then all bets are off! (In other words, there may be states of existence that are much different then what we can detect and understand.)

Every minute someone leaves this world behind.
We are all in “the line” without knowing it.
We never know how many people are before us.
We can not move to the back of the line.
We can not step out of the line.
We can not avoid the line. (y) (y)

So while we wait in line -

Make moments count..... Make priorities.....Make the time..... Make your gifts known.
Make a nobody feel like a somebody.....Make your voice heard..... Make love.
Make the small things big..... Make someone smile..... Make the change.
Make up..... Make peace..... Make sure to tell your people they are loved.
Make sure to have no regrets.

Make sure you are ready.

There are so many things that are unknown to me and to many others in the present we exist in.

But many of, if not all of them will one day be known making them unknown but temporarily so.

That's enough of literal thinking for me for now. Our discussion was interesting, temporarily. Now
I prefer to peruse funny pictures and other more lighthearted things.

What is the current Pharaoh's' name? Or who is our current Emperor in Rome? Even the land we live on has been bouncing around all over the planet. Oceans come and go. And in a little more than a 100 years, nobody alive today will be alive then. Kind of proves the point.

Yes, Everything in the relative life is temporal. But life has two aspects. absolute and relative.
The relative aspect is only the expression of the absolute, which is unbounded, unlimited, eternal existence.

There is no reason ever, to be afraid of death. Ridding of this body and this lifetime opens to wonders unimagined!
The rest of my life lies before me and I'm running to meet it, and to meet what happens after this life!
This is not supposition. I've had so much proof of the glorious afterlife, I can hardly wait to experience it.
Don't ever be afraid of anything, ESPECIALLY not death! It is wonderment after wonderment! @Blessed.
