Since childhood we knew everything is temporary. I could not imagine how everything would be permanent. This is a fact. Everything is only temporary. How do you deal with it?
Wow what an enlightened childhood you must have had. Mine wasn't that way.Since childhood we knew everything is temporary. I could not imagine how everything would be permanent.
That's very interestingEverything in the state that it exists at this moment, may be temporary.
But the atoms that make up everything, so far as is known now, exist
in some form or other, permanently. Things just get recycled. Matter,
of which everything is made, can't be completely destroyed, it's permanent.
Thanks but if you want to know more you can actually look it up.That's very interesting.
I wouldn't say it was "enlightened" particularly. Just another way of looking at things.Wow what an enlightened childhood you must have had. Mine wasn't that way.
Except that matter can be converted into energy, and vice versa. per Einstein's equation E = mc^2.Everything in the state that it exists at this moment, may be temporary.

Someday, I may look like this-Except that matter can be converted into energy, and vice versa. per Einstein's equation E = mc^2.
Careful there, talking politics could be hazardous to one's permanency here.Glad our politicians aren't permanent!
Maybe they're the same already?Except that matter can be converted into energy, and vice versa. per Einstein's equation E = mc^2.
I'm so sorry you feel this way. I've felt that way as well, but when I think about dying I just think about all the incredible experiences I've had in my life and how full it has been. I've made mistakes, but I wouldn't do anything over because everything I did made me the person I am today.I can't give a smart or witty answer. I can't tell a joke or give a riddle to figure out. The only thing I can say is with every passing day, I feel more anxiety, more fear about what is to come. We all know we will die, leave this place but we don't know when, how or where. That bothers me, makes getting through each day difficult. I want to be prepared, ready. I do not want death to sneek up and surprise me. I hate that the only choice, if we want to be in control it is to take matters into our own hands. No, that won't do, we all have to wait but we at least know it will happen. When you really accept that fact you can put aside all the pretense, masks you wear, and just be, no need to impress anyone. In the end we all will face the same fate.
Am I the only one who thinks about this? Am I the only one that is afraid? Yes, it is true, I spend to much time alone but this is my life now, not what I wanted, expected, I just have to deal with it.

Think about all the positives in your life over the years. Think about what you've accomplished as a wife, mother, daughter, etc. Think about everything you have been privileged enough to do that maybe others haven't had the chance to experience. Write down every day what you are thankful for. Hopefully that will help.
Why do we park in a driveway & drive on a parkway? If everything is temporary, why do permanents cost so much at a salon?
And why buy something called a permanent if it only lasts temporarily?
Life is too full of tough questions but life is only temporary too. Or is it?
No, you're not the only one who is afraid of death and nothingness. I am too. But I fill my days with as much as possible to counteract this negativity. We attract the thoughts we think and the ideas we focus on and envision into our reality so if you keep your thoughts filled with joy and health you will attract these things into your own reality. As long as you are living and breathing it does matter.I can't give a smart or witty answer. I can't tell a joke or give a riddle to figure out. Well firstly, atoms (and its constituents) and photons (light) are not the same types of particles, but yes one can be converted into the other. And secondly, if the universe/multiverse is infinite and eternal (as some scientists postulate) then all bets are off! (In other words, there may be states of existence that are much different then what we can detect and understand.)Maybe they're the same already?

There are so many things that are unknown to me and to many others in the present we exist in.Well firstly, atoms (and its constituents) and photons (light) are not the same types of particles, but yes one can be converted into the other.
