I am wondering if SS will put your check in the account on the third Wednesday of the month? I get mine on the 3rd day of the month no matter what day, but a friend receives hers on the 3rd Wednesday. No idea why, though.

It was there… patient lady in the phone said it went in on the 8th and when I went back and checked it was there. 🫢🙄🤔. Maybe there is some 5th dimension where my glasses and check were both hiding out =p

That was probably a good decision, not to have explained that saga to them, especially with the cause that you found out, and might then have had to reveal....:rolleyes:☺️

We won't tell, but I advise you don't 'broadcast' it on the internet.:LOL::ROFLMAO::giggle:

Also remember that you cannot use the "my-car-broke-down" story either, because you are apparently doing the task, remotely!🤓😁
 
Another day, and already I've had a heart warming conversation with a wonderful friend who is going to change the dynamics of our community through the public library! A former director who taught at UNC.
It warms my heart there are still dedicated people who will do the right thing for others. She also worked for CDC and John Hopkins University.
A more humble gal I've yet to encounter, but I have more respect for her than anyone. I'm blessed to enjoy her friendship. Oh, her hubby is a retired professor from Columbia U, and works for WHO.
Yet they are as down to earth as they come.
Sorry to go on, but it makes me be a better person for knowing them.
 
Not much to report over here. The snow is melting but it's going to be awhile. Once it does I have got to get my car washed or at least wash the windows. Going blind over here. :oops:

It sounds like you are off to a great start. It's good to talk with a friend who is doing something good. I get a warm feeling just thinking about it. Is that silly? I don't think so. :giggle:

Have you posted any pictures, Jamala? It will be a long time until there are outside flowers here. Our last freeze is the middle of May.

It's nice having a funny friend to make you smile.

We are having a few sunny days before the next cold blast. I have the door open so the cats can look out. Sometimes the bunnies come right up to the porch steps and look at the cats and the cats get all excited. They know it's not another cat but they aren't sure what a bunny is.
