I'm leaving this site for a few months. I've too many things to deal with. Difficult months ahead.

Sorry all. I need time to myself.

Bye for now!
Sorry for your struggles……time for yourself…..will miss you.
Take extra care.

Hope HAPPY returns for you.

Zoom meeting with my therapist. We are working on my fear & dread of AccessARide. It actually helped for last week's trip, but I have so much more to learn. I Zoom this therapist every other week. AccessARide has been my biggest pain, thank goodness it's not something even worse.

Tomorrow I'm staying over for dinner so AAR will be an hour later. An hour closer to my "I'm so tired I must go to bed" time.....I feel like a hostage with AAR, gives me panic.
I wish you had a better option, hard to function while having a panic attack. Exposure is the best thing, the more you do it, the more comfortable you will become. I did a lot of exposure therapy when I went through through therapy. Some stuff is still hard to do but I have gotten so much better over the course of my life. We will always have bad days, panic attacks but it we have just the tools to cope it is better. I also know myself, if there is something that is really scaring me I do take medication. For instance, I am not a good flyer, I always have to be medicated to even get to the airport. I have to take an additional pill right before boarding. I am glad I have done the therapy and know when and if I need meds. It really opened my life up to many possibilities.

I soak them overnight then rinse and dehydrate. It releases the nutrients and makes them more digestible.
Seems counterintuitive but it's part of doing things the old way.
They are actually really good, too! They are crispy.
What type of nuts are you using.

I’m sorry to read this. Good luck with your issues.

I did raw almonds, pecans, and walnuts. I just tried them. The walnuts are really good. As I said they're crispy and the almonds won't break your teeth. I keep them in the freezer and take a couple of cups out at a time. I buy big bags of raw nuts at Sam's and keep them in the freezer. I get the pecans usually from a farmer.

Take care @Supernatural . I hope all works out. 🕊

@Supernatural, I am so sorry that you are struggling. Losing your husband is horrible and the fact that you also lost your son is unbearable. I don't think that you have recovered from the loss of your son and know have to deal with more grief with your husband's passing.

I am also a widow, over 12 years now and still I have not adjusted or coped with the loss in a healthy way. I cannot even imagine the pain, the loss of a child. I know you and your daughter are working hard to build a safe comfortable life. I am not in the UK so I don't know how things work there. I don't know how hard it is to find affordable housing. I do know that the cost of electricity, home heating and gasoline is thru the roof. You are also facing the struggle of food that is healthy, available and reasonably priced.

I just want you to know, even though we are across the pond, we get it. Many here are in the same situation. This is a place that you can come, pour your heart out, share your troubles and how you cope. It may not make things better but just the act of sharing gives us the opportunity to learn from others. I know this has been a place of healing, learning, education and the overall feeling I can come here for help and not be judged.

You may not have the call to post but please come read, learn from others. I have.

A typical Tuesday.

Tai-Chi class 10-11:30am - it was an excellent one :)

Then we drove into Lancaster to get a few things and have a nice lunch.

Then I saw online that there were a few freight trains coming through so Mrs Oy drove home and I went to the station for a couple of hours then caught the train home. One stop - 6 minutes - then a 5min walk home :)

Woohoo! I'm already excited. Right after work tomorrow, DD and I are off to the garden centers. Not even coming home first, just jump in the car and off to buy flowers. I have about $350 in gift cards for Home Depot and Lowe's. I won't use it all but plan to make a dent depending on what's available.

When DD picks me up at noon, I'm usually so bushed that by the time we get home, I'm almost too tired to get out of the car. Hide and watch tomorrow...I'm gonna use the ride over to the centers to get my second wind.

Im sitting here waiting for my food delivery , I ordered a very small Easter Egg ,not had chocolate for a while ,and salad stuff so I dont over do the calories . Ive got dirty dishes to wash ,they will be put to soak .
That sounds good to me, here in Texas it is about 4AM and I will be going to bed. I did look the other day for chocolate marshmallow easter eggs but I did not spot them. They are on my list of must haves. I did see the peeps but they are not my thing.

This morning will be doing my morning walk with my friend. Then my aide will be here and I can watch her do my housework. I have to get used to that. I hope to get her to run to Walmart for me to get some things I need, mostly for Rabbit. I am low on my grocery money so have to be careful and check the prices before she goes. I wish I could go with her but she said that due to the insurance she can't take me when she is on the clock. So maybe after. I will see.

I've got to be at the hospital by 6:30 this morning to be put under and have a upper g.i. done.

The same doc that did my colonoscopy last fall is doing the procedure......I sure hope that he's gonna be using a different camera.
Good luck…..hope things go well.

Yesterday was a productive day. Did some business invoicing, then went to a new-to-me bank to open a checking account and safety deposit box. Need to have an account there to get the box. My previous bank eliminated their safety deposit boxes so I'm saying goodbye to them. This box is a little larger and 1/3 the price. Surprise, surprise!

Hit Aldi on the way home and grabbed just enough to pull together an early dinner of make-your-own veggie burritos topped with green enchilada sauce. Plenty left over, too!

As my final move, I swept and mopped the kitchen floor. Toddler grandson comes today, tomorrow and Fri. That boy's eagle-eyes spot everything - and whatever they see goes directly into his mouth!

This morning our handyman will start on some inside work that needs doing. It's supposed to stop raining tonight so he'll do the outside work tomorrow. If the baby is stressed by today's indoor work I'll put him in the car and swing by the library and the big produce store I favor. He's usually a pretty good shopper and these errands need doing.

Gracious good morning, friends and neighbors! Just one more shift to go before it's time to truck on over to the garden centers. If I work fast, will it get here sooner? LOL

You've inspired me to pay closer attention to flowers, GG.

While the bank clerk managed paperwork yesterday, I gazed out the large windows and marveled at their gorgeous birds of paradise plants. When we moved to CA, my mother was smitten by them. Turns out to have also been my MIL's favorite and both had them in their gardens.

No idea why DH & I never thought to plant them, but we will now. He'll grab a few plants when he hits the nursery in a week or two.

For anyone unfamiliar with birds of paradise the plant itself is quite large, as are the flowers, rather like calla lilies. The flowers really do look a lot like birds with colorful upper plumage.
