What are you doing today 2023

This morning, I made a list of important things, that must be addressed, this week.

I am trying to take care of several small yet important details. One at a time, but they get backed up, of course!
Making this organized list, is one of those tasks, I can count as done! Even before beginning any of those tasks on it!;):geek::giggle:

The weather is amusing and entertaining, today, out the window, here. It seems to be arguing with itself, and at any moment, one side or another, is suddenly winning.😄

Between dark thick cloud-cover, and bright sunshine, and hail, or rain, swiftly back-and-forth.

Not going out, today, so I don't have the daunting task of deciding what to wear to prepare for the weather!:LOL::ROFLMAO:☺️

Signs of Spring, though, are encouraging. Large robins hunting for worms.... goldfinches with brighter, more yellowy feathers!

In the meantime I've been vacc'ing everywhere, and cleaning the bathrooms.. such joy..lol...

This morning, the weather forecast was that it would start cloudy and then the sun would come out! Flipping fibbers!! :(:)
 
@Mizmo The Queen was "twinkly"? Hm. And the Duke taught him to peel a mango. How cool that peeling a mango was incorporated into a script!

DD and I went Walmarting and flowering and banking. Got a new pair of jeans and should have got two because I need them and because it's hard to find my size. Went to DS's bank so that the National Bank of Mom could make a deposit to cover a testing fee for his AI certification.

Went to the garden center. My favorite thing at the garden enter is their "Clarence" shelves. Y'all have met Clarence, right? Clarence is where all the marked down stuff is. I got four cosmos plants for about $4. And then a few other things, using a gift card, of course. There's about $30 left on the gift card. Yippee.

All the bedding plants have been planted. All the seeds except for the bachelor buttons have been planted, too.

And then...the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result. Okay. There's a spot at the top of the garden where nothing much likes to grow. Every spring I get the bright idea that I'll just get wildflower seeds to broadcast and see what comes up. What does? A flower here. A flower there. This year, I did it again. Of course. Maybe this time it'll surprise me. Or not.
 
I'm feeling pretty worn out from yesterday, even though I didn't do much. I guess this is the new reality that I have to adjust to.

Today ... Exercise, finish rereading book club selection, then go to book club.

On my way to or from book club, I'll check to see if the grocery store has ground beef at the sale price. The last 2 times I went, they were out. I can get a rain check.

That's enough to wear me out for one day!
 
Had to go to the mall to get a purchase price corrected. The computer had charged tax on the full price instead of the sale price. I’d say they need to get the computer tech back in to correct this error quickly. It had been three days and no one else had noticed.

Grocery shopping and then met DH for lunch. We decided to go a FF place where we’d never been. It was quiet when we went in and that always makes me cautious. When we sat down after ordering I noticed the floors were dirty, stuff under tables and they still have some Christmas decorations up. The food was good, but not good enough that I’ll ever return.

Filled the car up with gas and went to the bread store. I’d also noticed the other grocery store bill was high. They hadn’t applied the sale prices.

Christmas decorations in April ?.. that tells me they're lazy.. if they're lazy where you can see, then can you imagine what it's like where you don't see ?

Northeast corner of the USA.

Or in other terms; far North of @CinnamonSugar and @Georgiagranny .....😉
Somewhat farther North and East, than @OneEyedDiva and @Pepper and @RadishRose ;:)

~Digital purging of my iMac photos
~Didn’t plan to but wound up trying on some shoes to see if they still fit comfortably (they did). My feet seem a little swollen since one of my cardiologists took me off the water pills a few months ago.
~Had conversations with two dear friends, my BFF and my online bestie who is producing my “live” videos for me.
~Walked to the supermarket.
~Then the usual…napped, watched T.V. and played WWF2.
