I’d wear them now with my jeans. Nice wide toe area and adjustable strap.
I would too.I’d wear them now with my jeans. Nice wide toe area and adjustable strap.
I had those and loved them. They were great until you accidentally half stepped out of them. That wood was hard on the instep!Dr. Scholl's sandals

Never did earth shoes - they were too ugly for me. Never embraced Candies either, but wore a lot of high spike heels from the late 70s until deep in the 00s.
Seems like everyone I knew had those sandals.I had those and loved them. They were great until you accidentally half stepped out of them. That wood was hard on the instep!
Since they were adjustable, they fit everyone, and I never knew a soul who actually wore them out!Seems like everyone I knew had those sandals.
I remember the white powdery little pouch used to clean those white bucks. I didn't have them, but my

I think this is an updated version. The sole was different,
and there wasn't that 'thingie' at the back.
Zoot Suit. How about…Cab Calloway in a zoot suit? Love the man, his music, and his style!

I still wear these today. Cannot live without them.I loved desert boots.
Wore Bass Weejun penny loafers (in this color) were my primary go-to shoes in HS. Instead of pennies, we'd put dimes in the coin slot (for emergency calls at phone booths).

We call that style overalls, bib overalls, or coveralls. "Dungarees" was a generic 60s and earlier term for denim jeans and sometimes overalls. At least to the best of my recollection.we were big lovers of Dungarees for a while. Mainly sateen for going out at night or corduroy for daytime. Apparently in swinging London of the 60's.. ( I moved here in '74) it was chic for a man to wear them as well as girls.. but in our city in Scotland if a boy turned up in these in the 70's.. he would have been laughed out of town![]()
they're called Dungarees here for fashion .. when they're called Overalls that tells you they're for work...We call that style overalls, bib overalls, or coveralls. "Dungarees" was a generic 60s and earlier term for denim jeans and sometimes overalls. At least to the best of my recollection.
my ex husband was in the navy almost all of our marriage, his trousers were definitely not called Dungarees... the Navy numbers their Uniforms... number 1 Dress.. number 2 dress, number 3..to 5..Dungarees are the same as jeans in the US and usually refer to what sailors wear.
