Going to look at an apartment in about an hour. Just looking, pictures look great online.
According to the NHS website it is 65.No Trish I haven't... iornically I asked about it last winter. Doc said they don't do it for people under 70... and I found one pharmacist out of 4 I asked.. who woud do it ( Asda pharmacist).. and he wanted £60 so..I didn't have it done..![]()
that's interesting , I wonder why my GP practice will only give it to over 70's..According to the NHS website it is 65.
I am not over 70 but, my doctor gave me the new pneumonia jab over three years ago. I was under 65 but had several bouts of flu-like illnesses in a relatively short time. Several people I know (under 70's) also had the pneumonia jab around the same time and three months later Covid arrived and we then went into the first lockdown; the health authorities likely knew what was coming.
Perhaps when you are feeling better, you might want to look into it.
I hope you feel better soon.

Oh, I hate when that happens! Once they get in, they leave a sent trail for all of their buddies. Even if you kill the ones you you see, more will follow!AAnd now I have ANTs!!!!! in the kitchen.....![]()
I suggest you try ordering your new mower...maybe they'll deliver two!!!Confused... I ordered a new ceramic hotplate to replace the duff one on my cooker from one company. The order confirmation came from another company, and the part was dispatched from third one. Stranger still, I received a pack of 2 hotplates. At least, it was the correct part and was delivered very quickly. Also since I have two rings the same size on the hob, I have a spare should that one fail.
Well that's the cooker fixed. Tomorrow I have to go and pick up the new lawnmower and maybe even cut the grass.
There should be no harm in asking, especially as you have had several bouts of pneumonia already. I cannot see the sense of a surgery delaying giving it to people (especially those at risk) and I would be surprised if a surgery could arbitrarily decide to go against NHS guidelines.that's interesting , I wonder why my GP practice will only give it to over 70's..

Lee we don't have options to try other doctors in the UK.. we're listed on the books of one doctors practice... we can only change if we move to another area.. . We have 5 surgery practices in my little market town.. I'm not allowed to change to any other surgery, unlike years ago when if a Doctor wasn't very good at one surgery we could choose to change to another.. we can't now..Holly, They give it here at 60, maybe try another doctor.
So, no more Gator AdeWelp I used a spray on ants, and also ant poison bait, so think
that will help....as far as doc visit he thinks my arthritis was a
factor in my foot swelling as well as salt contained in the gator
aid I started drinking ....so that is all for now.....
really lovely... I love the white picket fence...Wait for it...I might have figured out this picture stuff. This was my garden last summer.
