He's 74 And Has All His Teeth

My being overweight is a great repellant, I guess, even in older age
Hey @Amelia B , I just noticed this. I find your photo to be lovely, and doubt your weight would be a "repellant". I have been overweight most of my life, so I am more sensitive to this than most. I am sure you are a delightful lady!

Rob...you've not got one extra pound on you.... ..but I agree about Amelia... (y)
Awww.... you guys are sweet! I was just using my self-deprecating style of humor (or "self-defeating" according to that humor quiz that was posted recently). Everyone on this board is lovely, I think :)

Makes you wonder though, how many people are walking around with someone else's teeth
Or for that matter, how the friend who was playing high school games to hook him up even knows if they're his own teeth. Or if he has them all... did the friend say "open wide and say ahhhhh" to check that there's not a tooth missing in the back somewhere? :giggle:

She may have asked him but, let's face it, who's going to admit that they are wearing their grandad's dentures although, sharing is caring, apparently :)

Hey, come on, he is 74 and has his own teeth! :)
What a way to evaluate someone, eh?;)

If you get around to ever wanting to make new friends or to find some positive companionship, Lee, I am sure that will not be your number 1 screening method.:geek:

(Or third or fourth, etc....)

Unless I am mistaken, and number of teeth has something to do with a person's character or personality or values...

I've put a little more thought into this.

Seems to me, for him to suggest you take your sign down seems a little disrespectful to you. Good for you for ignoring that comment.

Also, it's obvious he went to your friend to speak about you. If he had any respect at all about your feelings, he should have spoken to you instead of setting up some sort of ambush.

I dunno. just seems like he's only concerned with his interests. What you think is secondary.

Again that's just my opinion.

BTW... the Big Bad Wolf had all his teeth, too.
