What are you doing today 2023

So far today I've been screaming like crazy. I have called 50 times between last night and this morning to find out what time they are coming out tomorrow to do my blood work. I have to be fasting so I need some info. I have never been able to speak to A Person because everything is automated and you can't speak to a person. I hit the button that is supposed to direct me to a real person but then the connection ends. To add to my anger I can't get on my email on my computer. Thankfully I can get on it if I use my hubby's computer.😡😡😡

@hawkdon, do you think your landlord has the house unofficially for sale. It worth be worth calling him and asking. If he doesn’t, I’d mention to the police that this is happening.

If you see the ladies again, step out and take a photo of them watching you. If you have a cell phone, make it appear (pretend you’re talking to someone) you’re Facetiming a video to someone.

know that it's the EXT HD.. and I have no idea what his game is.. but for me.. I can stop feeling guilty that I might have lost something belonging to him..
He knows what he’s doing. He’s not going to admit he was wrong and he’s knows exactly how you’ll feel. He’s being a bully to make you weaker.

@hollydolly He's a jerk and a bully. I hope he gets warts and ugly toenail fungus. And a social disease that hampers his love life. Even better? ED!

I have this thing about sauna. It's a Finnish thing. It's not "sah nah." The closest I can come to its pronunciation is "sow nah." My DH was a Finn. It was his language pet peeve. I'm not a Finn, but until I lived out in the rest of the US, I'd never heard it mispronounced. In Finnish, every letter is almost always pronounced. Elide the a and the u. You got it.

Rant over.

Well, today started off really weird... The Lowe's delivery guys showed up at 0900 (I had taken allergy meds last night and was sleeping heavily/ overslept), so they got to see me in a bathrobe and bedhead.. OH WELL!

Had tea and banana bread for breakfast, then headed out to walk and do a couple errands. Back now with granola in the oven and contemplating lunch and putting in a load of laundry.

My vacation to Seattle isn't until June but I'm already planning as far as packing. I am attempting to do a week's trip with just an under-the-seat rolling bag so I'm on the lookout for clothing and ways to store stuff that doesn't take a lot of room. Bought re-usable snack-size ziplock bags to put meds in as they take up less room than bottles. My only concern is that if the bag gets searched--for whatever reason--and they want verification of what the meds are, is it more important to have the prescription bottles?

The rest of the day is up for grabs.

It's absolutely possible you could end up in hot water re: prescription drugs without evidence of the prescription should they check your bag in security. Personally, I would just pack them in the containers you got them in that shows the script #, name & the Dr.'s name. It's not gonna make a huge difference in your overall volume of packed goods. Alternately, you could take a photo with your phone of each pill beside it's bottle showing the prescription info. At least you'd be able to prove they are legal drugs prescribed to you.

Yesterday I spent the day cleaning and today it’s lunch out with friends, an appointment and some errands. The weather is finally beautiful so I walk the dogs daily. Maltese are fussy about many things including weather.

Up until a couple of years ago, I travelled a lot... flew at least twice a year every year... always took my meds in pill boxes, not their original packages.. never once been questioned about them..

And I've seen people pulled aside twice for not having proper documentation for their meds.
Don't know what happened to them but after that I always have any pills in the original bottles.
Mind you, I mostly travel internationally and that's where it can get really sticky. Maybe not as big a deal travelling interstate?

RadishRose,, Mac says "Thank you."

We have had several walks today,,& some outside time.
Yesterday afternoon Mac was on the back porch,, fussing,, getting excited.

There was a strange dog in the yard.
When it saw us on the porch it came rushing over, crying.
Could see it had a collar & flea collar on but no tags.

Seeing how excited Mac was ,, afraid he would jump off the porch to meet his 'new ' friend .

Put his heavier harness on & out we went.

O,,my,, that little stray dog was so excited, ran circles around us.
Mac & I could only stand & watch.

Hubby was at the neighbors , so we headed in that direction.
The stray settled down & acted like it was heading towards its home.

About that time the other neighbor's little girl came over to try catching the stray.
He mother came over to tell us it was the folks who live on other side of them , who had missed their dog.

So happy that we weren't stuck with re homing a dog.

All food for thought... I appreciate the input. Wonder if I could get my pharmacy to package them flat with a label? 🤔🤔🤔

Last Monday, it was supposed to rain all day, but never did. I got a lot of yard work done. Ditto for Tue...not a drop. Today started out dry, but eventually the rain started. It's been a light rain, on and off. Just enough to give me "the lazys".

I've done some housework, some reading, etc. But mostly I've just

A beautiful day!

I woke up way too early. Oh well.

This morning I got my pension, in spite of the strike. Did my monthly paperwork.

I've done some of my exercises, and will do the rest.

Long distance language partner this evening. In a couple of days he's going to visit relatives in the US. He still wants to have conversation practice while he's away. Says he'll let me know if he has to cancel. He's usually very reliable, but I think he'll be less reliable while away. I don't want to be waiting around, knowing he might cancel. Easier to just cancel for the 2 weeks. (Anyway, I'd like to take a break.) I'm not sure how to tell him.

@CinnamonSugar I wouldn’t worry about your meds when flying in the US. It’s not like you’ll be carrying very large numbers.

Years ago I got mini vitamin bottles with the big Centrum. I use some of those for travel. Or you could just use smaller pill bottles and label them yourself.

Flying to and from Canada to the US, they sometimes check. A friend put her vitamins in other containers and she got pulled aside and grilled.

When you speak with your language partner this evening, tell him to have a great time on his visit and that you don't want him to worry about having the conversation while he's away. You want him to just enjoy himself, and he can tell you all about it in conversation when he gets back. How does that sound?

@hollydolly
I am sorry that you've had to go through all of what you described in that post, on previous page... about the hard drive, and the rest of the similar experiences with him, etc...... :(

I would like to read more posts, right now, but am not able to. Extremely worn out. I had a very draining appointment, and DH (past 90) has some worrisome symptoms, suddenly. I am feeling stressed. Just checking in here, with all of you, kind folks.
Thanks for being here. 💌💌💌💌💌📮
