$150 to spend at a garden center sounds like a fun outing.I'm home. Busy morning.
DD and I are going to the garden centers this afternoon. I still have $150 on my gift cards...

Have fun with the baby and happy birthday to your DDIL.Up at 5:30 AM, as usual when watching DGS. He arrives between 7:15-7:30, so getting up early gives me a chance to have some coffee, handle any little chores that need doing, and check in with y'all.
Today is DDIL's birthday. DS is planning a special date night with her, so the baby will stay here through tomorrow morning.![]()
Thank you for the ideas. We're figuring things out as we go. I think things are going to get better.I read nonfiction on my own, and if I find something worthy (as I often do) I'll mention it to the group. Sometimes they're added as an option for the following month.
As I said, we generally choose 4-5 books a month. Big advantage - when I (and others) start reading something but find it tough sledding, boring, uncomfortable, etc., it's easy to simply move onto another book.
Why not start another book club that's centered around lighter fiction, or suggest adding a second book each month?
In my group, about six attend regularly, and a few others come when they can.
what did you have done, Wayne ?It is 4/28/23 now to bring this up to date relearning to walk again following major surgery here...
I've seen purple and white together in some border gardens and it's very pretty.@Medusa it would have been more fun if most of what I bought hadn't been just maintenance stuff! I got two lisianthus and some diamond frost to plant together. Purple and white will look pretty together. Too tired to bother with it this afternoon so will get out there after work tomorrow and plant it.
Go, you’re suffering.I'm gettting tempted to go to the E.R. with this rash
Wednesday is a long way away while you're suffering so badly.. . Hawkie.. just go to the emergency room.. you might need some steroids, and could be home again in a few hours with some pain and itch relief..I'm gettting tempted to go to the E.R. with this rash
business...it is really driving me up the wall, so to speak...dunno
what kind of rash it is, but man it is terrible....burning/itching constantly, worse at some times than others....I've tried
several non-itch creams all to no use.....but guess I'll just
tough it out till my appt on wed.....dang.....![]()

Holly is right had both done 6 months ago. Doing fine or sort of. Glad to answer questions, ask here or pm me.Oh keep me updated on your progress if you can.. looks like I might be facing that in my future too...! No, after a few weeks the pain deminishes, but 12 to 18 months are required for full recovery. At 6 months I think I am at maybe 80 percent. It’s a long slow process, don’t believe anyone who says otherwise.ABob what would you guess is the turnaround time frame for some improvement, I have been told 3-4-5 weeks by others
Question Rob.. do you have stairs in your home, and if so how did you cope after the surgery... ?No, after a few weeks the pain deminishes, but 12 to 18 months are required for full recovery.
