What are you doing today 2023

Our Hummingbird Chicks are growing. The 3rd picture is new today, ten days after the second picture had been taken.

Walking daily just one foot underneath the hummingbird nest, we did not become aware of the nest till the chicks almost had hatched. The hummingbird mom was glued to the nest, and nothing could make her to fly away. After the chicks had hatched, mom left the nest increasingly more frequently, and by now she is gone even at night. But her chicks are growing, and there is almost no more space left in the nest. At the slightest movement, the little chicks open their beaks but they never make any sound. In another ten days, they are supposed to leave the nest.

Sadly enough, we always find in our garden bird chicks that had been too eager to leave the nest or had been pushed out of the nest by stronger siblings, like Mockingbird and Red Tail Hawk chicks we found, and the one below appears to be a sparrow chick. Hopefully, this will not happen to our Hummingbird chicks.

Well as usual I am trying to understand how some sites think we are so gulable. I got a call from a place called Fraud Center. They wanted me to give them my password to my bank account.

I got one this morning too.
Seems I owe this company ( could understand name) $89.00 and if I did not immediately supply them with my bank password and home address they would be sending the 'authorities' to investigate me.

Going about an hour north to have lunch with my "soul" daughter and grand daughter, the 14 yr old artist, who has painting displayed in the local museum and has sold a rather pricey one which is being picked up there this afternoon. We're going to the museum to see her work, tool.

I just spent three hours with my good friend working on her computer again and I am a little perturbed at how she is with stuff we had already cleared up last time I was there . I have noticed in other situation too , things that have worried me. She is 82 and always been on top of everything.:(
There is no one I can talk to about it. We have no other friend in common now. It worries me.
I cannot say any more but I have to say somewheresad.gif....tks

So happy you dropped in, Kaila. You are not alone. Many of us are holding you and your husband in our prayers and most positive thoughts. 🤗♥️
Thank you, this post meant a lot to me, as did, and does, the continuing support from the rest of you! I do offer mine back, to the rest of you, including @Trila . I hope that Dio turns a corner and improves very soon!

Each day this week, including today, I managed a couple of the small but difficult-for-me tasks on the lists that I have been generating. It helps me to focus on things I can do, and things that most need to be done, and things that are much better done sooner than waiting.

Today, I talked to the Vet office on the phone, and can't remember atm, what else. I also tried cold and heat on my legs, which are in a stubborn flare.
Surprisingly, it seems to have helped.:sneaky:
I have been doing bits of adult coloring, to relax some, in between attempting to find ways to address current challenges.

@Mizmo If it's something simple maybe you could print out step-by-step instructions and tape it to her monitor. Would that help or is it too complicated?

I think it is too complicated. She can be okay with computer to a certain extent.
Other occasions in the last few months have left me wondering, conversations, comments when shopping etc..you know what I mean.
Just not her anymore. :(
Maybe I should be wondering about myself:unsure:

I totally understand. I have the same issues with my Mom, not with a computer but with other stuff. It can be so frustrating. All you can do is be patient and hang in there!

I was a busy bee today…the price I paid for being a lazy one yesterday when all I did was spend some time online, play WWF2, watch TV and fill two pill cases. Early this morning, after prayer I put away the rest of the laundry that I did over the weekend and started the process of clearing the clutter out of my walk-in closet; didn’t get to finish that today. I tried on a couple of leisure wear outfits, trying to decide which one I’ll keep in my emergency bag. I cut several of my facial towelettes in half so they fit in the decorative container I made for them, then disinfected and refilled the baby wipes container.

In preparation for our studio time, experimented with different instrument sounds and practiced a bit. After my son got home from work, we started laying down tracks for our arrangement of the Denise Williams song, Black Butterfly. We are doing the cover as a tribute to my late DIL because it was one of her favorites. Her sister, who has a beautiful voice, will record the vocal part in the near future.
