Hi folks!!! A sunny day here, 77deg now F and gonna go
up a bit more....setting here with a wrap on my left foot/ankle,
due to I dont' know why...but it hurts...too much to walk any
at all around here....waiting on groceries to come in, ordered
some pain patches also, so that will help my foot...may have
a visit from physcial therapy today tho I hope not...LOL....
Have a great day peeps..>!!!! ;)

Not doing anything really, yet. I did make a real breakfast; fried egg with salami, Gruyere cheese sandwich on toasted whole wheat.

Yesterday my new vacuum arrived. I was going to assemble it myself but saw two screws taped to a part and chickened out. Waited for my son who was coming over anyway to clean out the dryer vent.

I love the vacuum... I never had "swivel action" before. Makes it so much easier! Also, I can see the dirt in the chamber. Satisfying and horrifying at the same time.

Soon I'll be feeding doggie and taking her out.

I need a new vacuum. What brand is yours @RadishRose? Also, do they still make vacuums that have bags to store the dirt? or are they all bagless now? I went bagless, didn't like it, found it harder to clean.
Peps, it's a Bissell, low priced model, 108.00. Hoover still makes the bagged models. I would imagine others do too. My new one cleans just fine, judging from the visible crap in the container!

Been a long week/10 days with work, death of a friend's son, my youngest having job/$$ struggles and tension/discord in my immediate neighborhood (nothing life-threatening, just distressing from an emotional POV; I hate conflict.)

I did my volunteering at the public library this AM, which was a pleasure =) New books to be stamped with "property of library" stamp. Love the feel/smell/look of new books.

Time with Granddaughter this afternoon. Right now drinking coffee and finishing lunch. I tried watching an old TV series based on a PD James novel, "Unsuitable job for a woman" but kind of petered out in episode 3. A little too melodramatic; and the main character kept doing stupid things that just didn't make any sense. Ah well....

Hello again, all of you!
I Thank each one of you, for the support, for my recent post, here in this thread. I really appreciate it. Makes me feel less alone, for sure!

Yesterday and today, I am managing to have some moments that I am able to take small steps that will help both DH and myself, in whatever ways possible.
I have one DS, who is helping from afar, at this point.

I'm glad to stop by, and read some of the posts, to see how each of you is doing.

So happy you dropped in, Kaila. You are not alone. Many of us are holding you and your husband in our prayers and most positive thoughts. 🤗♥️

Been out for my little walk, can't go further today because I'm expecting 2 deliveries, at different times. I was hoping to go to the salon today but it'll have to wait..again.

Not to worry.. fingers crossed I'll be able to do it tomorrow

What I'm doing today is writing a whole lot of goodbye emails to people at the company where I've worked for, lo, nearly 42 years. Actually, I don't think I know anybody who worked there when I started. I know in my particular building of 400 people, I'm the most senior.

Today is my last day! (Except for the 5 weeks of vacation I have to use up before I'm officially retired.)

dry....take care all.....;)

Just want to chill out with Buffy. Must go pick up prescriptions, maybe will hold off groceries till Friday.

Relieved Buffy has made it through so far. Don't know how long before I'll start seeing bad symptoms, and determined to be ahead of suffering. Can't bear the thought. She is eating less, though really enjoyed some smoked ham I had. She was always such a pig with food, pushing Max out of her way while she inhaled everything, leaving poor Max with a few tidbits he managed to steal.

BD party for grandson last night. Family & 2 godparents in attendance. Grandson loved remote control Gravedigger I bought for him.

He doesn't like being hugged or smootched over. It's done anyway!
