I've been fighting an internal battle recently, and I don't need or want need drama in my life at the moment.
However, I couldn't let this davey fellow run down military people with some wide, (and I might add... stupid general statement's) that, if nothing else, show he has never been in or around the military and that would lead me to believe that he suffers from a coward's syndrome. ( aka keyboard commando).
Guarantee he has never walked the walk and it shows.
Could just stick him on ignore, but, dip weeds like that would probably wear that as a badge of honor. (again, something he will never know).
Hope you all understand and I will try to stop in now and then.

On a side note, the wife and all my fur babies are fine.

I left a response for him because it really made me mad. My grandfather was in WW1, my dad and uncles in WW2 and all 3 of my husband were veterans. My second husband was in Vietnam and when I divorced him was still having nightmares at 52.

I lost a friend in Vietnam and a good friend of mine that was there died of a rare cancer because of agent orange. People like that jerk don’t deserve to breathe the same air as veterans. Glad you are back squatting dog!!

Well...I did see it and I told Davey off too. His post was not the only one deleted.
In my personal opinion, it was not that devastatingly nasty.
It was thoughtless and reeked of foot in mouth, but I am sure Davey meant no real harm.

I should be more offended than anyone, considering my own family's military background.
My Grandfather received several military honours.
Davey, seems to be a pacifist of sorts, but not vindictive.

Did it seem to be a post that might have had some relevance specifically within a discussion/thread set up where it could be debated with different viewpoints, but perhaps seemed inappropriate & in bad taste within the thread in which it was actually posted?

as you can see I have explained that I am accustomed to visiting several other forums each day and debating - and cannot not recall this at all - I am quite happy to apologize if someone would be prepared to explain what has happened and can let me see what their concerns are still ?? - these things happen on forums everywhere and can often be resolved with further explanations etc but to just wipe it all out and leave it unresolved doesn't solve anything or improve relationships.

It was an Inappropriate and Disrespectful post. I was very surprised by its appearance on a thread for Remembrance.

Respect, is a very important qualtity to harness, so is when to be appropriate.
Pay some attention to it.
