Remember these fashions?

No offense Ronni but the top 4 outfits are hideous! The men's looks on the other hand are not half bad. :)
You see the model on the far right, the one wearing the beret. That pattern on his trousers is a famous tartan. It's called Black Watch.

Back in the 1960's when fashions came and went almost in the blink of an eye, young men spent a small fortune having a black watch tartan suit, made to measure. By the time that the tailor had made it, the suit was out of fashion. Such was the fickle fate of fashion.

I can remember having a Nehru jacket, a safari jacket, leisure suits, and gaudy polyester shirts with floral or other patterns. Each was worn only a handful of times, which really was for the better…but for a brief time, they were once the glory of my closet.- -Groovy, baby! ☮️

Remember Twiggy? She was more 60’s, but man I thought she was fantastic! I did my best to emulate her look especially her makeup. I remember drawing those lower lashes on, every time I went out! Took longer to do that the the whole rest of my face!

I don't mind the plaid HC. I think plaid is classic and will never go out of style. I just never liked jump suits of any kind and the red and black for that style is a bit much. I remember we had plaid skirts when we were girls, similar to the kilts those men above are wearing and to the suit.

Jeeper....Think I still have a pair of those "Joe 90" glasses or "Deidre Barlow" glasses as we called them over here.
