Guess my hormones were raging, eliminating any possibility of good sense!!Yeah. What the hell WERE you thinking??![]()
Especially that bright red plaid jumper. That added bib part part especially just adds such sex appeal. No offense Ronni but the top 4 outfits are hideous! The men's looks on the other hand are not half bad.

You see the model on the far right, the one wearing the beret. That pattern on his trousers is a famous tartan. It's called Black Watch. No offense Ronni but the top 4 outfits are hideous! The men's looks on the other hand are not half bad.

Thank goodness.By the time that the tailor had made it, the suit was out of fashion. Such was the fickle fate of fashion.
The paisley shirts weren't too bad.

What the hell was I thinking??

In the 60's, I always loved the way British girls dressed. I found myself thinking that I wished more American girls dressed like that.View attachment 290559

"You are not going out wearing that, young lady."

I don't mind the plaid HC. I think plaid is classic and will never go out of style. I just never liked jump suits of any kind and the red and black for that style is a bit much. I remember we had plaid skirts when we were girls, similar to the kilts those men above are wearing and to the suit. You see the model on the far right, the one wearing the beret. That pattern on his trousers is a famous tartan. It's called Black Watch.
Seen here worn by two soldiers of The Royal Highlanders Regiment:

Back in the 1960's when fashions came and went almost in the blink of an eye, young men spent a small fortune having a black watch tartan suit, made to measure. By the time that the tailor had made it, the suit was out of fashion. Such was the fickle fate of fashion.
