Well it's true we all hear different words of advice from our elders and it's different from one country to another and one decade to another. The, "mutton dressed as lamb" is a British one, so I never heard it growing up. We're all different, I was surprised to hear you say the woman in the picture should lose her red shoes and belt, because I thought they were cute color accents.

Frankly, I think you are fighting the way most of us are hard wired. It has something to do with encouraging the survival of the species. And as we age, the wire can’t handle as much current as in our youth, but the current still travels the same pathways.

Guys nowadays probably wouldn't give long, bare legs a second look since all their girlfriends are wearing cut-off jeans. Only a fourteen year old would look twice because his hormons are starting to rage! At least I I think so, since I haven't really paid much attention lately!

That's a good metaphor Brookswood, but I have to agree with Ronni. "Oh wow! You look fabulous," always brings a smile when I compliment my wife.
When the early films came out, the cinema's were packed, did stars like Mae West create the personification of sexiness with the sultry look, the husky voice and scripted lines like: "Hello boys!" & "Come up and see me some time?"

From the reactions I’ve seen, I’d have to disagree. Even this thread; look how long this thread is and how many make no pretence that they are still very interested. Prostitutes and call girls are sometimes used by older men. The reason being, that they want the s-e-x without the commitment. Perhaps that’s why it’s the oldest profession.

I agree with you @PeppermintPatty. Just take a stroll past a workman's site with some construction workers with a pair of short cut off jeans and bare legs showing and a t-shirt. I guarantee you even at my age of 65 years old, I would get some stares.

I think it’s safe to say that most men, at any age, are attracted to women.

Probably so, and I would add to women of any age. It's really quite natural, what matters is what we do with the attraction. I think most men and women handle it quite well.

I suspect the same is true of most women, at any age, attracted to men.

I think for the most part it makes the world a better place.

Well, perhaps only briefly till he finds out what's under the surface. Then he may be looking for the nearest exit.
Women who are full of themselves (Think they're hot stuff), or toxic (Angry, bitter, obnoxious), no thank you.
I'm sure women don't want anything like that in a man either. Just genuine, sincere, and good company will do just fine.

As of this year globally it’s only 6.4%. Not even close.

I can only speak for myself. I can appreciate beauty, but I'm definitely not physically or romantically attracted to or interested in women. Granted, as we age, there are more women than men, but even when the pickings are slim, that ain't ever gonna happen, even if I live to be 100, and you can take that to the bank!

Exactly the same. I can appreciate beauty in any species or gender but I definitely don’t want to have sex with another women. I rather fancy men in a skirt ( kilt ) than a woman.
