Current ride. I bought this going into retirement knowing I was going to run it into the ground before I get rid of it.
Love it, best all around vehicle I've owned. Has been very good to me.....Next? I would like a Lucid (but not sure I can afford it)
We will see when the time comes.

We've got 2 vehicles....a 1997 Dodger Dakota SLT 4W dr., with only a bit over 100K on it. It's still in good shape, and we keep it due to living in the boondocks, and being able to get out in bad weather (if necessary). The car is a 2006 Impala LTZ with about 95K on it....it's almost too big for our needs, and the wife wants a smaller, easier to drive/park vehicle, so I'm watching the dealer web sites, and if they start getting more inventory, and dropping their prices later this year, we may trade that in on a compact SUV.

Best time to buy, late in the year. Got to make their numbers.
 
A 2005 Chevy Classic with about 122,000 miles on it. It was a mistake to buy it. Has a lot of rust on the underside that I wasn't aware of. I can't afford another one so I keep putting money into it for repairs.

The good part is the transmission and engine are ok yet and it has good heat, AC, and radio.

I really need a car for going short distances and so far it does that. My check engine light is on so I have to get that fixed in order to get my echeck.
 
A 2018 Buick Encore......it's a sub-compact 4 door with very agreeable power to weight ratio and good mileage. I'm happy with its ability to quickly accelerate to cruising speed and it's the first small car I've driven in about 40 years......it maneuvers and parks in tight spaces very nicely.
Also a 2011 Ford Ranger pickup truck. I'm ready to trade it in for another mid size pickup this year. I can't really do what I do without having an available pickup truck. The 4 wheel drive option is very, very welcome in snowy or icy conditions.

2019 Honda Passport. Bought just before we retired. About the same size as a Pilot, but only two rows of seats. Lots of "hauling" space and plenty big for the grandkids car seats. Plus, the Mrs. wanted that V6 power and it's a whole lot easier to climb up into rather than folding down to fit into the Accord that we had before.

Ford 4x4 truck, Honda Fit, enduro & cruiser motorbikes, and my 28 year-old Trek - it’s just a bike with me as the motor! They all have good points and bad.
Looking for a used electric car. Maybe one that needs a new battery.
 
Yes, it's a little different than what I used to drive but not completely. I used to drive a big 4WD pickup and now I'm driving an AWD good-for-city-driving vehicle. It will get me through the snow on paved roads but I wouldn't want to get off-road with it.

But, it's late model, low mileage and paid for. I like that combination. :giggle:

I can't expect to drive like a teenager all my life. :rolleyes:

Rarer still, 1927 Phillips lady's bicycle. My surgeon recommended cycling following a hip replacement. The lack of a crossbar made it easy to sit on the saddle. The chain guard is perfect for protecting wide bottomed trousers.

Awww. I felt a bit bad for laughing but that name cracked me up.

Cars can take a long time to heat up especially after looking like that. We have a garage but my husband uses it as a workshop and I don’t mind. He usually cieans the snow off the car and warns it up some before we go out and those seat warmers sure can be sweet.

How are your veggies doing? Actually let me find the right thread for that question.
