Funny that Mark Bolan's death came up here - hubby and I were just talking about that last week. We heard a T-Rex song and DH brought up his sudden tragic death.

I love when threads like these bring up our own recollections of famous people who have passed. Helps us know one another better.

As for today's - I remember the actor who played Perry White very well. Superman reruns were a staple of my childhood.
Edie Adams - my strongest memory of her was as the star of Muriel Cigar commercials. Remember her sexy tag line: "Why don't you pick one up and smoke it sometime?" and also when the commercials had her singing, "Hey Big Spender?"

Sex and the 60s commercials. I remember them well. RIP, Edie.
