How do you read this forum?

I use "new posts" exclusively. My reason is no matter where you post it, I see it.

Since you brought this up the "mark forums read" doesn't seem to work consistently.
For example, it seems like right after I post something, all the threads I just read show as being unread again.

Anyone else notice this? Or is it me?

I always check the forum with New Posts...but, I do check daily the Albums and the New Group Messages separately.

Yeah. New Posts. The only way to find a good discussion. The threads here seem to have a very limited life.
I say once again, I really enjoy the people here. Mostly because they are so much like me. Luckily for both of us, not quite like me! That's what makes for the fun, and the enlightenment. I love the international perspective too. I wish we had some people from other parts of the world. It would be great to have someone on the spot in the Mideast or Asia.

I always check New Posts first. It's also interesting to go back in General Discussions into older threads, maybe even before I joined. I find members I've never heard of who were quite active for many months. I've found at least one member, That Guy, who I would like to have known but he no longer posts. We still see his photography which is beautiful.

Yes, that happens to me often, depending on when I come back to read the forum again, it's quite annoying.

sometimes, I'll check the quick link first, that will show me the threads when I want to quickly find a thread I posted to where I want to see it first thing.
