What Was the Last Movie You Watched?

Just finished watching a Really Nice Movie, with Rita Moreno, Sally Fields, Lily Tomlin, Jane Fonda, and Tom Brady called "80 for Brady." It was only an hour & a half, my total concentration limit, and had laughs throughout with no down time. I saw it on Paramount+ but it is also on Prime.

Darn. I still have to pay to watch it. No way, Jose.

Margot at the wedding starring Nicole Kidman. It's about two sister's relationship. On Netflix. I didn't really like it. I found it depressing.

Marty 1955. 1 Hr. 29 Min. Amazon Prime. Free last night. It is in black and white.

Starring Ernest Borgnine. I really liked it.
I checked that one out of the library during the pandemic. Loved the movie. Worth every award it received.

What shocked me most was how his mother was convinced her life would be over if he moved out. At age 56 (something like that - they said her age during the movie) she was considered an "old woman."

Exorcists (2023)

A cheap and not particularly cheerful horror film about..... well, yeah. Not worth while to look up and spend time with, it has no noticeable scenes, scenes, or performances. It just kind of sits there on the screen until 90 minutes pass and it expires.

I felt bad for his mother and aunt because they basically felt that when their children moved out life was over for them.

Bunker (2023)

Pretty much your usual World War One horror flick where soldiers stumble into a tunnel complex that contains a demon. Some of the acting was sub-standard, and the poor old demon only gets a minute or so of screen time right at the end. Still, I watched it all. You shouldn't.

I saw a few of the movies mentioned above and my comments on them would be similar to the other posters.
Lately, I have been watching documentaries on YouTube regarding the history of the Israel/Palestine and also others on kibbutzim.
I also watched documentaries on Netflix: "Born in Syria" and "Born in Gaza". Both were very difficult to watch.
One comment from farahhyass on IMDb sums it very well for me. "This movie hit me deep. Never imagined how hard the life of a child can be".
The comment could apply to both documentaries.
Next time, I will share more jovial film choices!

The Alien Factor (1978)

Cheese. Lots of cheese. Love it! Dialog rubbish. Acting poor. FX nonsense. But it has the magic of incompetence going for it. Someone said, "anyone can make a movie", and they went with that. It's awful, and you'd have to have an understanding partner if you're going to watch together. But I have to say, I loved every minute of this awful movie. Nothing is good about it, but it's so earnest it means everything is good about it. CHEESE!
