What Was the Last Movie You Watched?

15 Cameras. A very average horror movie about a serial killer who wires up homes he rents out with camera's so he can keep an eye on people. There are no surprises, nothing you couldn't predict from scene 1 to the final credits. The performances were perfunctory.

Since I just about only watch horror films, I come across movies like this a lot. Can't recommend it.

Well, it's October, so it's scary movie month around here. We watched Deliver Us From Evil and Hansel & Gretel. Did I enjoy them? No...but it was something to do and the first picks on Netflix and why, I'm not sure. lol

They made a few of these weird horror films that rely on old children's stories. I recall Judy and Punch being among the better of them.

What channel did you happen to watch those movies on JBR, in case I want to check them out?

thx.
With the Shaw satellite system, I believe the channel numbers vary... not sure they're the same in Calif as in Canada, where I am. Here, it was one of the channels between 501 & 518 (movie channels, no commercials). We always check within that range for descriptions of what might be appealing, interesting movies for us.

Look Away which is listed as a horror movie on Netflix. Horror films have disturbed me at times but this one didn't. I've seen more horrible things in movies not listed as Horror. I thought this movie was good and very interesting.
.

Finished The Burial on Prime by watching in two parts. Very good.

Tommy Lee Jones is 75 and looked older. Still an excellent actor as is Jamie Foxx.

Meteor (1979)

Star-studded dud, which was probably quite something back in the day. Seeing it now, it's paper thin plot wise, and it has loooooooong shots of the slowest moving meteor and rockets ever put to celluloid. It must have played into nuclear fears of the era, but today it's just drab.

It’s my annual classic scary movie fest. I have The Mummy, Frankenstein, The Wolf Man, Dracula, and The Invisible Man on Blu Ray. Yesterday, I watched The Cat People on Amazon.
I used to watch scary movies many years ago and lately I've been getting back to them..I find as I've gotten older they don't scare me as much and that's a good thing!😂

Leona Helmsley: The Queen of Mean on Prime Video. 1990. 1 Hr. 34 Min.
Starring Suzanne Pleshette and Lloyd Bridges.

I liked it and thought they both did a great job portraying Leona and Harry. I remember when all this was taking place and in fact, used to stay at the Harley when I went to NYC. She was definitely mean to her employees.

Not a movie, but I'm watching the reboot of Frasier on Paramount+. It's great seeing Kelsey Grammer again, but I find the scripts lame and the other characters ridiculous. I will continue to watch it though. I'm on episode 3 of nine.

Martha, Inc.: The Story of Martha Stewart (2003) 1 Hr. 23 Min. Amazon Prime but actually came from Tubi I think.
Cybill Shepherd, Tim Matheson, Joanna Cassidy

It showed a completely different side of Martha Stewart. How she was behind the persona of her brand. I liked it.
