I swear to all that's marzipan that you live on Planet Victuals... all these intellectual sounding food ingredients...![]()
You are really a cookie master!I used up nearly my full stash yesterday on the edges of these cookies. Can you see the sparkling black sugar? That's the black sanding sugar. The black tahini I mentioned buying a few days ago? That's what I used to marble these same cookies.

I've been having the urge to crochet a poncho or shawl. I'm having trouble finding a poncho that doesn't look, well, like an old lady ( even though I am oneAlmost bought these shawl/poncho clasps as gifts, but they look a bit too plain:

Those would also come in handy if the power goes out.Purchased a pair of Mountain Hardware 800 fill goose down inner layer pants today, Men's Ghost Whisperer Pant, in size small olive green for $225 including tax that was 25% off. So yeah a very expensive piece of thermal clothing often used for those going on arctic expeditions or climbing peaks like Denali or ice fishing. None of which I will do haha.
This thin old BMI 22 guy will be using it as an inner layer under ski pants on especially cold days. Or just as an inner layer under wind shell pants anywhere outdoors when temperatures drop below say 40F. As a long time skier and outdoor enthusiast, I have a museum of cold weather gear for layering, especially head gear.
Tried purchasing it on a major outdoor retailer site but had login account problems so then used a chat session on that window but that also didn't work because it placed widget sale windows partially outside my desktop window. So two serious webmaster html coding bug issues. Thus finally had to phone them directly on an 800 number.
yes I agree, it's very frustrating..Really disappointed to do another return. I ordered another coat for really cold weather from Eddie Bauer. It arrived today and I can’t even close the front. My other one is a MP which is really bigger than needed and this is SP. You’d think the same company could be consistent with their sizing. $10 fee to mail it back.
Eddie Bauer = Quality. Good deal!View attachment 317306
My primary current tan hued ski pants are several years old and has been losing waterproofness. So yesterday after reading reviews on a gear site, bought these Eddie Bauer brand, Men's Chair 6 Shell Pants for $114.50 on a super sale from $229 at the EB site. Will use the old pair for above freezing sunny days.

I rarely go into malls these days @Jules .. however, I see that their online site sells Women's Petite sizes.I agree.
Pinky, if you’re in a Toronto store, will you take a look to see if they keep petite sizes in stock. They don’t in Vancouver. Thanks.
Thanks, Pinky. I know what you’re saying about malls. Sometimes I order online from them. Their sizes have been really inconsistent so I’d love to go to one of their stores that carries the petite sizes. If/when I’m in Toronto again, I’ll drop in anyway.I rarely go into malls these days @Jules .. however, I see that their online site sells Women's Petite sizes.
