Why would you think it was creepy?Bordering on a tad creepy.

It just is. These people donât know you but Iâve done worse. At our last house we kept getting someone elseâs mail. We kept leaving it in our mailbox expecting our couriers to clue in. They didnât so I drove to their house and hand delivered it. They genuinely seemed pleased . Itâs probably illegalWhy would you think it was creepy?
Why would you assume I don't know the people? These people donât know you but Iâve done worse.
Because you didnât add that pertinent piece of info in your storyline. I donât assume anything with you.Why would you assume I don't know the people?
Maybe I'm just more caring.Considering that the owner asked you to toss it, why are you more concerned about the Xmas card than the owner is?
Did you tell her who the sender was? Maybe it is someone she knows wouldn't have a personal message (such as, I get cards from realtor, insurance agent, etc., and wouldn't consider those important).this is from a different sender. I called the former owner telling her what happened, and she said, "Throw it away."
Yes.Did you tell her who the sender was?
Maybe 'cause there could be a $50 bill in there and by tossing it, she'd never know? JUST kidding... I know it would be technically illegal to open it. Then again, I doubt that the CIA or USPS has an agent stationed by Deb's door to see if she opens a Christmas card or not. This happened to me a couple of times after moving here... former owner had died and got a few Christmas cards. I just did a return to sender (if there was a return address) and scribbled a note on the back flap "sorry to tell you, but Mrs. --- passed away a year ago."Considering that the owner asked you to toss it, why are you more concerned about the Xmas card than the owner is?
More noseyMaybe I'm just more caring.
Yep!Maybe 'cause there could be a $50 bill in there and by tossing it, she'd never know?
I had to look it up.Why are you always so sardonic, PP?
Why do you âactâ so helpless ?Why are you always so sardonic, PP?

I have book learning, but not "street smarts".Why do you âactâ so helpless ?
Youâre smarter than this.
You are smarter than you give yourself credit for. You instinctively know what to do but second guess yourself. Trust your instincts more. You arenât as naive as you portray yourself to be.I have book learning, but not "street smarts".
Now that's resolved looking forward to the next topic that generates interesting/entertaining repliesShe hadn't come to get the card, so I took it to the Post Office and asked it be "returned to sender". Then I called her number and left a message telling her what I had done.
