Do you have tulips, that you can see often, when they are in growing and blooming season?
I have some outside my window, that I planted years ago, when I was barely able to. Now that I am unable to plant any, those continue to come up and cheer me, every Spring!

Love peonies too but boy, do they attract a lot of ants. I'm always telling my husband, shake out the peonies before you bring them in. By the way, the peonies are situated around the condo building, but since hubby helps around the building, he can pick a few for us.
I know what you mean. I had to tell mine, to take them back outdoors!
