That's why it was on the local news. That's up in your neck of the woods, I looked it up. 36 miles from you. I remember that, so awful.
I find that quite amusing, that 36 miles away to you Americans mean local news. For us this would be in a completely different county.. maybe even 2 counties awayThat's up in your neck of the woods, I looked it up. 36 miles from you. I remember that, so awful.
My youngest son went to an in-State university that's a good 550 mile drive each way from me. That isn't even from end-to-end of the State.I find that quite amusing, that 36 miles away to you Americans mean local news. I can imagine..knowing your country is HUGE...did you know the UK has almost 70 million people in it, that we know of.. and its smaller than Oregon? My youngest son went to an in-State university that's a good 550 mile drive each way from me. That isn't even from end-to-end of the State.
Yes. It explains why high-density housing in so much of the country is a necessity. I'm more amazed that there are still people in the rural areas with fairly large holdings.I can imagine..knowing your country is HUGE...did you know the UK has almost 70 million people in it, that we know of.. and its smaller than Oregon?
yes we have a massive rural area countrywide.. which is why so many people are living cheek by jowl in towns, cities and villages because have a protective order on the countryside...(green belt) .. and that's fantastic because we the public are allowed basically to wander anywhere we like unlike the USA where rural land is off limits to anyone other than owners.. but of course that means that housing is built in towns in the most ridiculous places..like the car park of the local pub for example..Yes. I know! One thing I loved about England (among a million things) was that if I went to a village, then another, say 10 miles away, the accents were a bit different! I became quite expert in nailing almost exactly where someone lived, within a few miles!I find that quite amusing, that 36 miles away to you Americans mean local news. In the western states we have millions of acres of public land at our disposal. We just need to keep them out of the hands of the individual states. Truly an angry old man, hope he dies in prison. So senseless.
I remember it too. Just senseless. Sounds like he was looking for an excuse to shoot at someone. That's up in your neck of the woods, I looked it up. 36 miles from you. I remember that, so awful.
Hell no!Could the defense possibly go with trespassing? and protection of his property?
Don't think there's much dispute about the facts in this case. Polly Jinx seems like a wildcard, but her being a "nut" shouldn't effect the coming guilty verdict. Of course she let it slip that this might not have been the first vehicle the old man shot at.
