A Royal Wedding

Wenches? What is a wench? In Canada, those are fighting words. Lol.

A wench is a girl or young woman it is from Olde English and definitely not a floozie.

In some parts of the U.K. a girl or young woman is still referred to as a wench or called a wench.

Yes, floosie would have been a better choice. I'm referring to a young miss who asked the prince for a kiss. He good naturedly responded by attempting a kiss on her cheek but she made a quick move for a kiss on the mouth. You could tell he was a bit shocked at the liberty but he's well trained. I, like Queen Vic, was not amused.

Things could have been worse.
I was at a wedding once where the flower girl stood in the middle of the dance floor at the reception and stripped down to her smalls.
The poor little thing was dead tired and needed to be put to bed.

The main reason I refused to have any children in my wedding or my daughter's wedding: my nephew was a ring-bearer in a wedding when he was about 2 1/2. He was very, very fascinated with his ***** at the time and before anyone could stop him, he had his pants down and was showing off his prized possession to all and sundry. Sigh.

Lighten up Warrigal, having a sense of adventure or a bit of fun doesn't make the young girl a floozie.

What is a male floozie? A stud? Grrr. Harmless fun to kiss a prince. Proper etiquette? Perhaps not. But hardly immoral. Girls just want to have fun. We women need to eradicate these paternalistic words from our consciousness, If we ever hope to achieve parity with men IMHO.

I think its more a case of girls and boys too) Just want to star on Youtube or go viral on Facebook.

Over here floozie isn't such a bad description. It has comic connotations thanks to a TV series called Mother and Son. The slightly dotty mother was always referring to her middle aged son's female friends as floozies. In my mind it actually only means rather forward. This young lady was certainly forward.

What's a male floozie? Well, if he is too forward he is a creep.

Back on topic. Here is a report of the wedding

"SlutWalk is a
transnational movement[SUP][1][/SUP] of protest marches which began on April 3, 2011,[SUP][2][/SUP] in Toronto, Ontario, with subsequent rallies occurring globally.[SUP][3][/SUP] Participants protest against explaining or excusing rape by referring to any aspect of a woman's appearance,[SUP][4][/SUP] and call for an end to rape culture.[SUP][5][/SUP] The rallies began after Constable Michael Sanguinetti, a Toronto Police officer, suggested that "women should avoid dressing like sluts"[SUP][6][/SUP][SUP][7][/SUP] as a precaution against sexual assault."

"By now, you may have heard about how SlutWalk Toronto got started, and how a small group of people in Toronto kicked off what became a global movement by challenging harmful, victim-blaming language. Three years later, at SlutWalk Toronto we’re still going because victim-blaming is still a problem – one that validates the actions of perpetrators of sexual violence, and upholds many forms of systemic violence.
The first SlutWalk rally in Toronto three years ago lit the spark for grassroots action in over 200 countries worldwide, where organizers have rallied communities for marches against victim-blaming. Some of these marches have been called SlutWalks, others have taken locally-driven names; all have been a part of international, collective action against victim-blaming in support of survivors of sexual violence.
SlutWalk Toronto continues because survivors of sexual violence deserve our support, not our scrutiny."

Was he, or was he, like so many men, just a braggart?

Whose word do we have for his many conquests? His?
I reckon Mick Jagger has a higher tally and he's butt ugly.

Yes, why would any woman want to sleep with Mick Jagger? Women will always be a mystery on some levels...
