Please tell me more about those pellets. How is it they last so long? How often do you have to change them? I'm thinking our cat might think they're something she can chase around the house. 😺 I take it you don't have to maneuver steps with your new trolley, especially at it's weight capacity (?) I used to use Noxema when I was young.

We change it every 14 days. You have to remove only the powdered pine litter and the numbers 1 and 2. Adding the new amount over and mixing all.

We do have stairs and depending on our haul, we either take it up or we empty from hallway. It's actually easy to haul up the stairs. Daughter grabs the top handle, due to my bad back, I pick up the bottom and push up. Job done!

One use of Noxzema last night and one new pimple (acne bugger) is already gone. Woohoo!

@OneEyedDiva as you're in New Jersey, NY, USA, I've done a simple browser search for pet shops in your area. I'm positive one of them will have natural wood pellets as cat litter. Good luck dear!

This is the partially opened box he prefers over the fully enclosed one. It's from Amazon UK but you might be able to find it on Amazon USA. I've found over the years that some cats are claustrophobic and don't like the boxed in type of litter boxes. It was a worthy purchase as he's just nuts about it.

He can spray the litter all around his number 2s and the floor around stays clean. We appreciate it as well 😹😹😹

Another potential manufactured home bites the dust. I looked at a place last week and made a full price offer. I went yesterday to meet my agent to go over a couple of issues. When I looked at it last week the baseboards were on the outside deck and some areas had got wet. But weirdly when I looked at the online pictures, the baseboards were in place. I don't know what was up with that. Flooring looked the same. Yesterday the baseboards were back on. Probably some still wet.

I was looking around outside and checked the smaller shed which clearly was leaking and I found two open boxes of the pergo type flooring moldy. That was it. I wondered if they had used some of that inside and I withdrew my offer. Also they had not disclosed the cracked bathroom window. Not a big deal and not a deal breaker but I've bought and sold a house. I disclosed everything.

Insult to injury I had to pay for the roof inspection on a place I'll never buy. I'm so mad and upset I don't think anything will work out.

Still dealing with Verizon and my dead phone line. Been working on it on and off since 8 am and I canceled my plans since they were sending a tech out. Then they decided not to send a tech and think it's some huge outage problem. So, I canceled my plans for nothing. Ugh. The annoyance of it all sent me walking for miles outdoors again. I think I need to stop with all this walking. I'm feeling like a machine, plus nothing else is getting done.

Oohh I love when the items I get from Amazon arrives earlier than projected.

So, today Tuesday, instead of Wednesday as first projected with my order's confirmation, all arrived today. Woohoo, doing the happy dance!!!

Now, chilling watching Merlin TV series (gosh daughter and I love the two actors, one is Merlin, the other is young Arthur, they're so cute!)

Having a cup of Espresso with Maple syrup and UHT Semi-skimmed Milk. Tomorrow now, we'll tackle the dish cabinet which we have to empty, move out the space it occupies and remove the unused cabling to SAT outside and patch up the hole in the wall.

Used a granular product (found at local shop for pennies) to clean out and refresh washing machine. Now, it smells fresh again!

Celebrating my 7th year today of being smoke-free :) Well not really celebrating, more a thankful remembrance of the day I decided to make the leap of faith and just quit cold turkey!

7 years ago today I couldn't imagine not lighting up a smoke upon waking in the morning or after a meal or completing almost any task yet now, it's the complete opposite. I can not fathom for the life of me why I ever wanted to smoke those damn things  Quitting smoking really does result in a complete life metamorphosis.

@Kaila Hmph. Promotion, indeed. What's a promotion without an increase in pay? I vote for more "pay," too. LOL

@Marie About the cataract surgery...you no longer have to wear glasses? I've been dreading (and putting off) cataract surgery because I thought I'd be sentenced to wearing "Coke bottle" glasses forever more. That's changed?

My day at work was going well, then Sir discovered that there's a bakery manager job at another store about 5-6 miles away. Right now, he's merely a supervisor. Manager's job would be an increase in pay. He's going to ask for it, and if he gets it wants me to go with him. They need two people, manager and a part-timer.

I told DD about it but didn't mention that he wants me to go with him. She read between the lines and freaked because even as early as I have to be at work, there's a lot of traffic in that direction at 5:45am. There's no traffic between home and the store now. It's less than two miles away.

Oh, dear. Maybe if he goes, NL will be the new supervisor. That would be fine. But if not, then what? Or maybe he'll change his mind and not apply.

It can be puzzling, looking back. A friend & I started smoking ciggies at age 13. I enjoyed both the experience & my rebellious secret life. Smoked for a few months, until two neighbor kids (about the same age as me and my younger brother) got caught and severely punished. I figured the news would seep over to my folks, so I quit. That was that.

Six or so years later, I did get into moderate, regular cannabis smoking for a few years. There was more to enjoy in that. After basically leaving that behind, on occasion I'd toke now and then with friends who've wanted to include me.

My vision, corrected by the surgery is now 20/25. I no longer need glasses full time, but will now just need them for reading. Your results may vary. But, it seems that more often than not, no more glasses. I think it depends on how much your vision improves. So, do not go entirely by me....but I say go for it. I see so much clearer.

I think the most important thing about getting cataract surgery is to take all the eyes drops that the doctor orders.

Buy sun glasses to wear after surgery & eye exams.

I did notice that I needed sun glasses more after cataract surgery than I did before.

If you haven't chosen a doctor for cataract surgery,, ask friends & others who they used.

I realize that eye surgery has improved since I had mine done.

Good luck to any that are thinking about cataract surgery.

Accck!
Reading the papers they gave me telling about the side effects of the antibiotics I got this morning.

Makes me fear taking them.
Tendon damage, Peripheral nephropathy & so on........4 pages:cry:🥲
Ah, @Sliverfox, please know they put in *every* possible side effect because they are covering their posteriors. If someone should have an adverse reaction, they want to be able to say, “we have it in writing this *could* happen”.

Take the med, feel better 🤗

If you have a specific concern, talk it over with the MD or PA /NP.
