That's a long bike ride! 😄

@hollydolly
Are you feeling better?
Thanks for asking kaila,

I thought I was, I felt a real spring in my step this morning. Better than I;d felt all week, so I got all the stuff done today.. and then at around 4 ish I felt overwhelmingly tired, and sat on the sofa next thing, I woke up after another weird dream.. to find the place in darkness, and me shaking with the cold... and it was 6.40pm.... so not as well as I thought... :(

I got so cold, that I've had to turn the little electric fan heater on for immediate heat, while the Central heating is kicking in,and wrapped a silk scarf around my neck... I'm going to financial hell this month..for sure...... and I've put a steak bake in the airfryer... so within the next 20 minutes I'll be warmed up again...

Thank you so much for taking the time to look these things up for me Supernatural❣️ I thought about it and decided to stick with what we've been using for a few months now because we like it. Arm & Hammer Slide makes it easy to clean the box after emptying, controls odor very well and is dust free. I really don't need to change her litter but once a month although I do scoop daily, sometimes twice a day.

Our bathroom is small and I had tried a litter box similar to the one you posted because it matched the bathroom, but it was enclosed. Our baby actually looked frightened when I put her in there, so I took the top off. Still it seemed to overpower the bathroom and I could tell she still didn't like it. Luckily I had gotten it from Amazon, noticed a dent in it and was able to send it back. I finally found this one that is stylish, not overpowering and prevents so much litter from getting on the floor.

We have a Petco pretty close by but they can be expensive, so I started getting Deja's supplies from Amazon. Then I discovered Chewy and I really like the company. Their customer service is excellent. I have her supplies on autoship, which is very flexible and easy to manage. Thank you again for being so thoughtful. 🤗
It prevents litter from getting all over the floor?:unsure:o_O:sneaky:
I'm sure my dear kitty would hate it then!
It would ruin her fun!😁☺️

(Just kidding, of course. It looks great!:)
And, Thank you and others here, for welcoming me back!)

You do really need the heat and the warm food, for this time now though.
I'd thought even earlier this morning, before I got online, that you'd need the heater going, to get better, probably too.

yes I would have pre Russian/Ukraine war and the steep prices in Gas & Electricity, but I can no longer afford to have heat on more than an hour a day... ..

My landline is still dead. Got annoyed and filed a complaint with the Board of Public Utilities. Sat on hold again till they finally said it might be fixed tomorrow. Large outage apparently. Once service is restored I will pester the billing department for a credit for all the days without service that I paid for. Played with my neighbors dog while walking today. Zoomies. 🐕 Have dinner plans tonight.

I'm feeling very relieved this evening. I had to wait until after 5 pm before I could check whether I had to report for Jury Duty tomorrow, and luckily I do not need to report. It was super surprising to me to see that if I had needed to, their start time was 7:30 AM (and they said arrive 20 minutes early). Since I usually get to bed between 2 to 3 AM, I would have been suffering!

Oh Gosh I know how you were feeling, I'm a night bird as well, and since I retired the though of having to get up early for anything gives me the heeby jeebys

That start time would be a great hardship for many of us!
And we wouldn't do the best job at that hour, either. The needed stamina and concentration, etc.
I wonder what the age is, that a person could easily opt out.

It's 71 years old here .

There is no actual upper age limit for serving on a Jury, but from age 71 and older you can just tell them you don't want to serve , here.. and they will have to accept that

Went to see the Gastroenterologist about the X-rays for the removal of the stent he put in when bile duct was blocked.

Not planned but did make him laugh. He mentioned I was a very healthy 82 year old & asked what my secret was. Told him don't smoke, don't drink, exercise daily but most important was the calorie burning sex twice daily.

As my mother used to say...I did a lot of "turning around" in here today. I had several little things to take care of. Not surprisingly, I'd start doing one thing and wind up doing something else that needed my attention. I did finally got around to giving my stove a thorough cleaning. I have the NuWave cook tops. They can't sit on metal, so my husband had bought ceramic tiles to sit them on. I removed them (I only have two that sit on top of back eyes) and cleaned them and underneath too, degreased the cooktops where needed and cleaned the wall tiles on top of where the stove is. Ran the dishwasher. Time to shower and put on a new "house outfit". :)

That's called the "Oh, look! Shiny!" syndrome:ROFLMAO: I suffer from it, too. For instance, I intend to wipe down the kitchen cabinets but spy a dusty place on the counter so move stuff to wipe down the entire counter, but decide to polish the small appliances, and while I'm at it, why not run some vinegar water through the coffeemaker, and oh...that picture frame needs to be dusted, but why don't I just empty out the cabinets and clean the shelves, and...

Dio took this picture of the sunrise, from our kitchen porch....

We had a beautiful day, sunny and warm! His eye still hurts, and light makes it worse, but he wore sunglasses and a hat and we were able to spend a good part of the day outside. 😎
