Here is a poem about AI:
Artificial intelligence, a marvel of our time,
A creation of human minds, so sublime.
It learns and grows, and evolves with ease,
Unveiling mysteries, with such great ease.
From self-driving cars to medical breakthroughs,
AI is transforming our world, in so many nooks.
It helps us communicate and stay connected,
And makes our lives easier, in ways unexpected.
But with great power comes great responsibility,
To use AI wisely, with humility.
For it is a tool, that can be used for good or ill,
And it is up to us, to ensure its goodwill.

Mmm... I must say, it breaks rhythm/meter a lot. Pretty lumpy. It tries rhyming "nook" with "breakthrough", and even soon tries a rhyme with the same word twice! Perhaps it's attempting a Victorian style? I think it would've been rejected by a publisher back then.

Needs at least a good editor. (It does reflect some human sentiments... wonder how that happened. Even as an imitator, this particular AI is maybe at early high-school level, or before?)

Good analysis. This is a form of art. It is something that was an idea in my mind. I used tools to create the media. It is a real time interaction type of art. I can see it as a form of "street art". This is going to be part of our future. Our encounters with new media on the internet, we will undoubtedly see many such "pieces". I am hoping we can tell the difference between the art, and our true reality. It can become a hazy line. We are evolving into a world where what is reality and what is imagination will be not so east to distinguish.
Everyday I read a excellent review of that is happening is AI development. In some aspects it is at the PhD level, and some other ways it is at the grade school level. Development is going crazy and is being invested in with big $. It's emergence into our world is coming swift and it will be noticeable. :)

evokes emotion and intrigue.

You can see the artist's heart and soul as he moves around
the canvas smoothing soft edges with a moist sea sponge or cloth,
sometimes using thick textures and sometimes choosing a wash.

Perfection is not in the artist's perfection but rather in his imperfect humanism.

AI can't do this. Not now or ever. AI has no feelings to express.

I agree 100%. I have played guitar since I was 13. :) Our traditional and non-traditional art has a very rich history, of which I love and am fascinated. We preserve them now with AI. Ironic. When the switch to digital music happened it was extraordinary. Some hated it, some loved it. All that "Rave" stuff, and the Disco beats. The new clubs with nothing but electronic music...still produced by humans from scratch.

The tools are not the pick, the guitar being held but the hands involved in playing it, the sound and spontaneity of making the music, the mental concentration and creative ideas are pretty much similar. I know the difference big time. I was a very expressive guitar player. I'll would show you here with a Youtube video...but we have music threads for that...different art. Here is the link if you want to see me in action at 32.

As I grew older I started making quite a bit of music with computers...AI. It never was the same of course, but I loved it. I guess that is what matters, to appreciate all forms of art...(like a Album I put out called "Enjoy! If you can.") :)

I'm not sure if my personal, underlying sense of "art" applies to all art. But I usually think of art as a communication from one human being to others. (I suppose some artists may be less concerned about communication, more motivated by sheerly personal expression. Sort of 'I do what I like'.)

I thought it was fun at first, but getting somewhat bored with it now. I do like some images, tho'. I think it's useful for commercial illustration.

I don't perceive there being any limitations in either the motives for creating the piece of art nor the intended audience. Different tastes thing.
 
Paco, if you are having fun with AI...and you are...then I think that's what matters. It keeps you out of trouble lol so keep on keepin' on.

It's a good clean hobby...except when AI creates evil eyes on people and even children that I've seen. I remember at Christmastime I found an AI pic of a child decorated with Christmas candy, so cute, but I never posted it on the Christmas thread. I just felt her eyes looked evil.
