I'm afraid we don't. My husband and I give each other a fun card but that is it. We feel just leave it to the young folks, we do not want to waste money.
I'm sorry, there is no lonelier feeling. XHubby died almost 3 years ago. No reason to celebrate it.
I tried to watch that series but just couldn't like it. It's personal choice but since you like it, I hope you enjoy your evening together. Watching dramas together is lovely.Have reservations for our favorite restaurant tonight. They make a special menu just for today. Then home to watch Resident Alien.
I prefer action movies, he likes romantic ones!Doesn't cost anything to light candles at dinner and make a special meal with ingredients you don't need to spend extra for. Or watch a mushy movie together. Neck/shoulder massage? Go for it, Rose!
I wonder what they want? Why they must keep drawing attention to themselves. What people do in private is of no concern surely to anyone else.I see some lesbians are promoting Galentines Day, as a day to celebrate their lovers. An other example of a group trying to co-opt a traditional celebration to their own needs. Jimb.
Exactly what I have planned.Doesn't cost anything to light candles at dinner and make a special meal with ingredients you don't need to spend extra for. Or watch a mushy movie together. Neck/shoulder massage? Go for it, Rose!
She'll love it, @Murrmurr !Exactly what I have planned.
While I was single, I got little Valentine gifts for my grandkids; usually the small heart-shaped boxes of chocolate truffles or assorted chocolates.I'm afraid we don't. My husband and I give each other a fun card but that is it. We feel just leave it to the young folks, we do not want to waste money.
Haha. Thats kind of funny. Usually it’s the opposite. We are polar opposites. If someone isn’t killed or assaulted in the first 3 minutes, he’ll rate the movie as a chick flickI prefer action movies, he likes romantic ones!
The spotlight.I wonder what they want?
Sorry for your loss oldaunt.Hubby died almost 3 years ago. No reason to celebrate it.
You spend far too much time with the wrong people. And what's wrong with new underwear? Bet she had a good reason.....I always hated Valentines Day. You can't get a cheap gift- you don't love me. But if you spend a bundle, we should be saving money. Buy roses, I should have gotten something that wasn't thrown out in a couple of days. Buy her a blender- you forgot how to be romantic. Take her out to dinner, what's wrong with my cooking? Get her just a card, where's the rest?
And yet, I'm supposed to be thrilled with new underwear.
It's even worse if your not married. You have to exactly match the gift she thinks is appropriate for the level of your relationship.
