He was here yesterday. It’s the weekend. He’s probably busy polishing his dancing shoes.Have I just missed posts or have we not heard from @horseless carriage in the past few days?
I'm home. Tired. What day is it? Who's on first?
not the weekend quite yet..but yes he was here yesterday...He was here yesterday. It’s the weekend. He’s probably busy polishing his dancing shoes.
As soon as I fill the car with gas and check with my wife to see if it's OK, I'll be on the road to N. Carolina to help you spend it !! What's that old saying ?? "Don't forget to leave the light on for me."It did. Just waiting on the moola to hit the bank.
I have an awesome friend who lives in Scotland, she is the one who told me about Coosday. It's a long story, but I'll try to make it as short as I can.....Is Coosday a nickname for Tuesday? Is there a local or personal meaning behind the word? Can't find any via a web search.
there's quite a lot of Youtube cruise do's and don't videos'... very enlightening so they'll help...I made a reservation for a cruise for the end of the summer this year. I've never been on a cruise, but I have a goal this year to do things while I'm still young enough (tho I wonder if I really am still young enough). I'm feeling so overwhelmed by all the extra decisions that a cruise requires. Such as apparently tap water is free but I'd need to order bottled water or sign up for a drink package. I guess I'm getting mentally old because that just is so confusing to me, like what the heck is tap water on a boat?
I'm going to ignore all of it for a while (avoidance syndrome!), then maybe I'll find some YouTube videos that will help me understand.
except we Scots don't rhyme Coo with Tue... because we pronounce it ''Tyoo'' -sdayI have an awesome friend who lives in Scotland, she is the one who told me about Coosday. It's a long story, but I'll try to make it as short as I can.....
If you say the word "cow" in Scotland, it comes out sounding like "coo". This of course, rhymes with " too"...or Tue. So somebody started a cute campaign to help Scottish tourism by dubbing Tuesday "Coosday".
The Highland cow is absolutely adorable (my opinion) and is becoming more and more popular as a decoration item.
Please go to my thread called Happy Coosday, where every Tue I post pictures of Coos.
I hope this helps @StarSong![]()
I repeated the story as close to the way it was told to me, but I'm always happy to have more information! So thanks!except we Scots don't rhyme Coo with Tue... because we pronounce it ''Tyoo'' -sday![]()
