My Observations Of Senior Forums

Based mainly on the responses to some of my posts and reading others as well as PROFILES since since I joined Senior Forums I have concluded a number of things and I see nothing wrong with any of them. The members, though not rich are comfortable and despite the usual aches and pains of aging, are reasonably healthy. Politically speaking the group appears pretty Liberal, both male and female. There doesn't seem to be any religious NUT Cases (fortunately) and belief is varied. Group seems to be fairly well traveled. Most members do not work and are RETIRED. There is a mix of MARRIED/ DIVORCED/ SINGLE/ WIDOWED/ IN A RELATIONSHIP/ LIVING IN SIN/;) Everyone has a opinion on most subjects.

I suppose that's why we all have time to make our opinions known on here, although a few are still working.:cart:

I went back to work full time a couple months ago, here's my sign:

DW, we shorties are concentrated, dontcha know! Lol. Environmentally friendly, also, taking up less space, breathing less air, and if born with the fat gene, requiring less food. We rock! Lol.

Short people by Randy Newman (who is short) - this is a ironic/satirical song, no to be taken literally :love_heart:

Well, I'm not exactly one of the 'little people', but I'm only 5' 3" which necessitates always buying pants from the 'petite' department. Both my parents were vertically challenged too, but my son is 6 ft. tall. Go figure. I hope you didn't find this video offensive. I saw Randy in Van in '77 and thought this song was cute.

Cookie, I found the video funny also. I am 5'2", but my son is 5'11". Par for the course for our family, where my mother and I were/are the only shorties since my great, great, grandmother. My son's father's family are all tall.

Am I the only one who gets to the bottom of a thread and forgets what it was about? I see something about height but I don't think that's how it started. I was 5'2 for about 60 years but now I am a hair over 5'. My excuse for the memory problem is it was hot today (112* on my front porch) and I'm tired. Yeah, that's a good excuse.
