All the girls in my high school were called to a special assembly where a woman gave us a lesson on "good grooming" and make-up in which Ten-0-Six figured heavily as a cleanser, pore reducer, acne cure, and dry skin moisturizer. I remember it left a sticky film on your face and that I once mixed it up with the Listerine bottle and took a swig.

aaah, this brings back old memories! Every pay-day, when my brother was around 10 yrs. old, I would take him to the hobby shop to choose a kit to put together with "airplane glue". He had model cars and airplanes galore.

It is used for sprinkling your ironing. Helped to steam the wrinkles out.
I worked part-time at a restaurant during high school. Emptying these out after closing was one of my least favorite jobs. Cleaning the bathrooms was the worst though.
