They're still around, but not something most people would have.I haven't seen one since I was a child. My father had one. So, I see they're still around.

I have one
Wow. That brings back memories !
When the first McDonald's opened in my home town, burgers and fries were 15 cents each and shakes were 12 cents. A meal for under half a buck!
You bet it was serious! When I played you could not use steelies or Rolly Pollie's for shooters. What we did use was Agate marbles for shooters... Like steelies, if you hit a marble, they would knock it out of the ring and stick where they made initial contact, thus you got another shot. If you were good, you could clean out the circle and pocket all the marbles...Marbles was a serious game for us kids
You got to keep whatever you shot outa the circle
We all had steelies for shooters
Those roll down shades are sometimes still sold at Lowes.I've lived in this "custom home" for 43 years. I installed the old roll down window shades in the two upstairs bedroom leaded glass windows that face south. They are for heat/light control, and are hidden behind white wood blinds. Well, one of them broke and I went to the local big box stores and only the older clerks recognized what I was after. Yup, they don't make them anymore.
I looked on Ebay - my go to source for so much - and none were on there either.
Not a major deal of course, but I sure was surprised.
I hit both Lowes and Home Depot. I sure will look again (and ask again) next time I'm there. Those roll down shades are sometimes still sold at Lowes.
Thank you.....I had no idea what they were. What era were they from? Those pants stretchers (as we called them) really made sense and they worked.
