I spent $9.97 plus tax for fungicide for some of my flowers. Zinnias and phlox are usually plagued by fungus. But it was actual cash. Didn't use my debit card so there's still $$ in my account.
errrrmmm....scyooose me... what happened to not spending any money this week ?I spent $9.97 plus tax for fungicide for some of my flowers. Zinnias and phlox are usually plagued by fungus. But it was actual cash. Didn't use my debit card so there's still $$ in my account.
exsquewses.....Er. It would cost more to replace the flowers than to get the fungicide?
There are whole schools of art and engineering around pocket folders. I'm no expert, but it seems like many are just "dolly" knives not really cut out for serious use.I have been watching videos about grafting roses, and I wanted a little pocket knife to work on the cuttings with. I wanted one that looked like my dad used to carry, and found a nice inexpensive one that should work perfectly for what I need it for.

that's precisely what I would have done..and have done in the past.. Never would I line someone's pockets who I felt was being rude to me.How about what I didn't buy. Went to the farmers market today. A vendor I had noticed when I was off a few Saturdays ago at the Saturday market was there. Their bread looks good but I had already bought some. So seeing them there today, I was going to try their bread. The market starts at 7am, it was at least 715. He told me he wasn't set up and to come back. It wasn't what he said but the way he said it and his tone. I bought bread from someone else. And won't try their bread ever.
Did get strawberries, blueberries, raspberries (1 basket each) and apricots also.
Darn. Maybe I need to consider giving up my carbonated black coffee?I got hooked on "flat white" coffee while in Spain and Italy several years ago. That's why the frother...
be grateful for what you have... you could be like us here and not have any AC at allYesterday I bought 2 pounds of Freon for my home A/C unit. That came to $1017.00
I'd like to thank all of the Environmentalists for saving the world and making air conditioning so expensive.
Exactly that's all he had to say and you probably would have gone back and bought from him. Instead he lost your sale, and future sales, and likely any sale from people who you might have passed the story onto...@hollydolly Good for you on telling that guy off. I wish I could do that.
Thank you for the support because sometimes I think I'm overly sensitive. I was literally asking about the smaller loaves and instead of answering my question he just said he wasn't set up and come back in 5 minutes. I would say something like 'sorry we got a late start this morning, let me find one of those' after answering a customers question. I just walked away.
Nipping?I might end up nipping back
