CS we have a very similar looking plant here called the Giant Hogweed. It grows everywhere but mainly by rivers and canals.. It's the UK's most poisonous plant.. and can cause horrendous injuries...

I checked and altho' they look alike they're not the same plant...

this is the type of injury very typical where people have just brushed against the Giant Hogweed...

Another of Ed‘s daylilies that he planted for me… I don’t think it’s even completely opened yet this morning. It’s at least double and may be a triple.
