It's 82F. Once again the weathernerds are promising a "cooler" day than yesterday. They lie like mattresses. @hearlady It's probably not best to get too excited. Fifty percent chance of rain also means 50% chance it won't!:ROFLMAO:

Gotta get my grubbies on and get out to the garden in the next few minutes because it's gonna be another air-you-can-wear day.
 

Another overcast heavy weather day.. temps are at 81 deg now at noon....

I just had to call and cancel my appointment for my steroid injections in my knees.. I just realised that I'm on holiday that day.. shame because now I have to wait another week after I get back...but fortunate that they can do it within a short time of the original date.

BIG News of today , just received notification from GOV.UK.. that my divorce will take place in Birmingham on the 10th of July this year....

news to me... so I've sent a message to my lawyer asking what to do now... :eek:

Just had a root canal done on the 5th and I've got another one scheduled for 8:15 this morning.....wasn't overly fond of the first one so I'm pretty sure that I'm not going to care much for this one either. :(

I have had 2 root canals..horrendous.... I swore never will get any more.. it's just an excuse for a dentist to still have a money pit in that existing tooth IMO...just take it out...
 
Morning all folks!!! Gonna be a scorcher again today, hi air
temp will be 103F or more, heat index temp who knows!?!
Too hot for me, so will be in my a/c....hands hurting badly but
what kin I do LOL!!! Just go with it....today get my first meal-on-wheels...yay....gonna make some calls about my hands, see if
I can get any help...otherwise just take it easy today.....take care

One weather forecast tells me are going to have severe storms.
Another says its going to be nice today..........seeing will be believing.

Did get a few flowers into the ground last evening.

I kept falling asleep off & on all afternoon , Sunday.
Wonder if its the new med making me do that?

Finally a morning with out my husband 'shoulder reading'. :rolleyes:
 
On my early morning walk at 6:40 as I walked around the complex it was refreshing 63 degrees,glad I had brought my sweater
Today, my new sofa which I looked&ordered end of April, close friend Marcia brought me to the furniture store will be delivered to my apt. I can't wait,this is the 1st time in yrs I bought a sofa. Who knows I may never leave my apt again LOL!
My real estate agent, Patrick called me last Thurs, he is showing my apt this afternoon at 1 . I don;t know what will happen but keeping my fingers crossed it will sell soon
 
Flowers watered. DD's ligustrum planted in the spot where she wanted them. We'd thought there might be too many magnolia tree roots in the way. It was easier than I thought.

Laundry started, shower outta the way, hair blued. Still gotta wash up the dishes.

There's only about another 30 minutes of things to do today. Then what? Looks like another day of improving my mind...🧠

Sue.. I hope you love the new sofa, it's always exiting to get new furniture, what colour is it ?. I would love a new Sofa.. I'm just fed up with mine. I've had it over 12 years maybe 15.. it's leather and I am very easy on furniture, so it looks brand new still... but I really would prefer to have a fabric one now..

Fingers crossed your Appt will sell soon... 🤞

It's another hot and humid morning here.

First thing this morning, I shook out the (4) kitchen rugs, while Dio started a load of laundry. Then I put Goober out and took him for a short walk, while Dio danced a dust mop around the kitchen floor.

After our coffee, we both went out and took Goob for a longer walk, before it got too hot out. Goober is doing so well on going for walks with us! At times, while out for a walk, I'll stop and Goob will come over and stand between my feet (or on my feet 😅), and he will actually let me pet him!!!! No biting! I'm very pleased with his progress.

Now, I'm in for the day....hiding from the heat and doing

around the house. Maybe I'll even read my book for a while, we'll see. I've read everyone's post, but I'm not feeling too chatty right now.

Is that the court day you’re supposed to contest the facts he’s presented. That’s so soon when there’s still so many unknowns.
 
Yesterday was awful. On the first floor of my condo building there had been a funky smell for a week. Yesterday it was horrible and all the way into the lobby. Then I realized that a guy who lives in one down there hadn’t taken his car for a month and he had a job.

Called the police for a wellness check and he was dead. They said he was probably dead for a few months. No clue why it took so long for an odor to appear. He was a severe alcoholic and was only in his 50’s.

What's up with your hands, Don? Is it from the heat? Or do you get visits from Arthur? (arthritis)

My hands always swell up with the heat. Lately, it seems like all of me swells up....with or without the heat. I think it might have something to do with all of the 🍦!!! 😂🙃😅

Trila I believe it is a combo of arthritis and tendonitis, along
with carpal tunnel issues.....doc won't let me go to pain clinic
so don't have an official diagnosis yet.....
