I will be glued to the TV this evening.
Anyhow, to answer the question, no, I won't watch. 95% (at least) of people are so darn stubborn that whichever person they're voting for, the other guy is going to appear to them to have "bad answers." One or the other of them could have brilliant answers and the other sit there like a wart on a toad and the "other camp" is not going to HEAR what's said, just pick apart the opponent's words. That stuff is for the(and elementary schoolers.)
Which is what I was referring to, Kate. No-one's mind will be changed.
In fact, people won't tune in to learn anything, instead they'll be trying to point score and looking for material for all the memes that will inevitably follow.
Then they'll roll out the psychologists and behavioral "experts" on Social Media to "analyze" and "prove" whatever their agenda calls for.
As I say, you could write most of it right now, without the actual debate. It's all an effort to show one party "won" over the other. It's theater.
I can't even vote in your elections, but I will be glued to the TV too.I will be glued to the TV this evening.
It’s not about party for me but which one of the old guys will do the least damage. Both are too old for the job and I wish we had better candidates.I think debates are useless because the voter's minds have already been made up as to who they will vote for. It's a shame that people vote strictly for their Party. It never used to be like that. People voted for the best man they thought could do the best job, but that is no longer the case. It's all about the Party now.

So maybe folks should concentrate on the Vice Presidential candidate?Hm, I disagree with this (if I may).
It's worse.
People vote for a personality. Policies take a back seat to whether the candidates look good on Social Media and the like. Politics is mostly about the manufactured persona of the candidate. Sound bites. Actual policies are nothing more than point scoring exercises. Meaning, it's all clickbait fodder.
Instead, people concentrate on the man (and it's always a man) they think they like the most. Nothing more. It's really sad.
