Are you streaming ( or binge watching ) any series on Netflix, or any other service? Tell us about it.

Thought I'd try watching West Wing, on Max, starting with season 1, which aired Sept. 1999. So funny. Rob Lowe was the hip character. Up on modern tech. He used a beeper! Ha. They were showing off their beepers!

It was fast paced, but as it was the Pilot I got lost in all the characters, though I think I get their drifts. IDK, maybe the ship has sailed for me continuing to watch this, so many new things I ought to pay more attention to.

Since I am a disaster movie fan and the trailer looked real interesting...
Strictly disasters, or post-apocalyptic films as well? I liked The Road the first two times, but I can't go back to it any more. Something about our pandemic years maybe but now I find it too gritty, too grim, too dark and plausible. Children of Men is now hard to watch as well, it may be becoming our reality soon.

We recently finished "Jonathan Creek" and "Waiting for God" on Britbox. Reaching back into the 1980s and 90s but still fun.
Our favorite this year has been "Derry Girls" - made us laugh so hard! Needed subtitles since they have such a thick accent and talk really fast. Sister Michael makes the whole show!!!

"Derry Girl," sounds like my cup of tea. I see it stars Nicola Coughlan who was my favorite character in Bridgerton

I was looking for something light to watch so ended up watching "Colony" on the Roku Channel. I started watching it when it first aired but lost interest. It's not great but it was good enough to hold my attention this time without having to pay full attention to everything going on. Plus, it was nice to see Josh Holloway basically play Sawyer (Lost) on the show.

One downside for me is the main actress played the same type of character she played while on "Walking Dead" (She was Rick's wife) and I never could stand that character. The main downside though is that the series got cancelled before they could have a proper end to the series to it ends on a cliffhanger.

I'm really enjoying 'The Middle' on Prime Video. There's a lot of seasons. So far, unlike a lot of shows, I feel it's just gotten better instead of stale like many shows do. If a show starts to lose it's appeal I'll move on but I am a big fan so far.
My kids and I used to love The Middle. I thought it was such an accurate portrayal of a middle-class family. We have so many favorite episodes. One was "The Yelling." :ROFLMAO: My older daughter was recently here for a visit, and we rewatched some episodes.

I am still plodding my way through The Crown. It has fluctuated for me in terms of being interesting and boring. I'm determined to finish, it, though. I'm nearly done: on Season 5, episode 9.

I recently saw Escaping Twin Flames, which I enjoyed, and The Queen's Gambit, which I did not. I understand Anya Taylor-Joy's character was supposed to be autistic, but I found her completely unsympathetic and even annoying.

Next up is Inventing Anna.

It's clean without being corny, real without being crude.

One minor complaint; Even though I love Sue, she has gotten a bit overdone the last season or two. Just a bit. She's a junior in H.S. now.

I love Brooke Shields as Mrs. Glossner!!! Lots of good actors sprinkled in....Norm McDonald! 🙂

My very favorite thing? No laugh track.

I guess you can see its my current favorite! 😁

Dexter came up in my feed last night and I remember when it was very popular, so I decided to give it a shot. I like Michael C. Hall and we use to watch him in Six Feet Under. Anyway, I watched the first couple episodes and even though it was somewhat "dark" and macabre, I thought it was OK. Not sure I'll continue with it though.
I loved Dexter. My favorite character was Potty mouth Deb followed closely by Angel Batista.

Just finished up season 3 of Hacks on Max. Jean Smart (Designing Women) and Hannah Einbinder. Comedy with some adult content and coarse language.

Curb Your Enthusiasm. Years ago we watched the first series. I‘d never watched the second series. After listening to several of the main characters being interviewed, we watched the 12th and final season.

I don't particularly care for post apocalyptic and dystopian films. But between the Roku Channel, Tubi and Prime, I'm in disaster movie heaven right now! Also, can't remember if it was you who recommended Project Blue Book. I had started watching it months ago and didn't get back to it until a couple of days ago. I'm going to try keep up with it now.

I just realized that I forgot to get back to Wolf Like Me on Peacock. Several years ago, I found out that I like quirky comedies and this is one. It is a love story as well. I also have to get back to the "new" Night Court, also on Peacock.

I love Michael Hall's portrayal of Dexter and David Zayas is great in the role of Angel Batista.

I liked YOU and Dexter is, I think, similar.

I'm still living in the dark ages. No Netflix or anything else and no one to watch it with anyway. I try to record enough stuff to keep me entertained when I can't sleep. Recently I watched about 8 Shark Tanks in a row. Not my favorite but better than silence. Sometimes I need distraction.
