I can't imagine a life without my 24/7 buddies who give me their unconditionale love and loyalty.

My much younger wife of some 50 years is getting serious about retiring from her demanding job. Hurray! Then I will have again a full-time wife to keep me busy. In the meantime, our new smart TV is a treasure chest of entertainment that will take time to explore. In other words, you guys probably won't hear from me much anymore and my exiting life. So, I wish you all good health, longevity, prosperity, and happiness.

Today is the first day of the rest of my life.
If it's going to be, it's up to me.
God loves you, and so do I.
Congratulations to your wife!
I hope you pop in once in a while to say hello!

I finished the last book in the "King and Maxwell" serious. It was excellent! This was the first series that I've read by David Baldacci, and it will not be the last!

Today I will start reading a Science Fiction short stories magazine...I'm not excited, and will probably skip most of them. I used to subscribe to this magazine, but then I lost interest in short stories. They are similar in size to a Reader's Digest, and they are taking up precious space in my bookcase. So, every other book I read is one of these magazines. Eventually I will catch up, and they will be gone!

Honestly, I'm feeling a bit under the weather, today. It's not bad, but enough to make me feel sluggish. I guess I had better find my

Hugs to everyone!

Feel better, @Trila!

Moles are after grubs, or those Japanese Beetle larvae that will eat up plant leaves, buds and flowers when they come up from the ground.

But moles also wreck your lawn and roots of other plants, too. When we had them ex got something like mildew/spores to spread on the grass and it worked. Wish I could remember...

I had to load and run the dishwasher twice because I just didn’t have time to load and run it yesterday. We rinse the dishes thoroughly anyway before putting them in. I also made sure all of Deja's bowls are washed. Yes, the cat has her own set of "dishes". 😺

My honorary son called me today and we had a heart to heart talk peppered with laughter for an hour and 40 minutes. After that conversation, I talked with my BFF. I didn't do much else, so I don’t know why the day seems like it went so fast.

Winding string on empty string-trimmer bobbins/spools from a bulk package of string. Just another dull tedious task. "Watching" RiffTrax: Curse of Bigfoot as background noise. It's a pretty good candidate for riffing.
