A Nice Walk ( with photos )

@PeppermintPatty I bought lids from Amazon yesterday for our ball mason jars that are guaranteed to last 3 years
unlike BM who only guarantee their lids to last one year
I’ve got to wait 3 weeks to get them as they are coming from US

We just use these lids.

Today my husband opened up a can of pork meat and made a pulled pork sandwich. The meat was bottled over 3 years ago and was delicious. He bottled that himself. Made on fresh bread.

My main interest plant wise is growing shade loving plants called Begonias ..not just any common begonias but special ones … mainly being the rhizomatous type

Not rex…. but very similar ,with colourful foliage @RadishRose ….yep my back verandah is full of them
my DH calls them my Weeds

It Was a very interesting 4 day break …

We stayed on 18th Floor of this building …it was so …windy you could feel the building swaying
It’s 46 stories high ….however there is a building being built right in front of it that’s going to be 77 stories
high

46 stories high? That’s a tall building. When I lived in the city before meeting my husband, I lived on the 20th floor. You could definitely feel the building sway. I liked my apartment back then. Not sure if I’d feel the same way now.

More our style in Coolangatta …as shown on map I posted …30 km away ….much nicer / quiet more our style of entertainment …yep…you guessed it ….Ballroom dancing …

We stayed one street back from the beach ..it was so chilly / wet and windy up there this winter …it’s normally like spring day up there during winter ….

I didn’t think we had wild deers in Australia but when we traveled up to / through the snowy mountains mid summer
we seen signs to watch out for deers …so we have got wild ones.

Must be a European import surely?
