Browser freezes. Have to go into Task Manager and end process. There it is sometimes showing over 80% usage.
I'm having huge problems with Firefox myself currently.. but then my whole Mac is being problematic. Yesterday I ununstalled and reinstalled Firefox, it was a PITA.. it just wouldn't behave, even the new installation... but today it's working as well as it has for a week or 2.. got the Apple Mac guy coming out on Saturday to have a look at what the problem is with the software genreally..Browser freezes. Have to go into Task Manager and end process. There it is sometimes showing over 80% usage.
I also have Chrome, I actually prefer Firefox, but not lately it's been like Mud ....I've got Chrome, Firefox and Edge installed on my computer. 99% of the time I use Google Chrome. On the rare occasion that I try to use Firefox, I am always amazed at how Slow it is.

yes troubleshoot is at the very bottom. However I followed a youtbe video and removed firefox completely before installing a new one..Yeah, sorry. Did Help help? From Help, you should go to Troubleshooting.
have you cleared cookies ?I did clear the cache using CCleaner. When I open Facebook, the trouble starts.

Interesting. Mozilla is American based; I wonder if that's why the menu is a little different.yes toubleshhot is at the very bottom.
All 3 good ideas; seems like for me, though, when I used to use Ff more, Repair or Re-installing worked the best.In Firefox > click Help > click More Troubleshooting Information

I don't know how that could be.. because all that does is clear the junk out of your computer, it does take out all your saved passwords as well, but that shouldn't be too much of a problem if you have them stored..Clearing cookies is when the trouble started.
