Canada beats U.S.

Canada outclassed a young U.S. side in a 2-1 men’s soccer friendly win Saturday, the first victory over its North American rival on U.S. soil in 67 years.

Jacob Shaffelburg and Jonathan David scored for the 40th-ranked Canadians, who led 1-0 after a dominant first half. Substitute Luca de la Torre replied for the 16th-ranked Americans, who offered more resistance after the break.

What on earth is going on in that photo?

they are trying to hit the ball with their head. can't use hands in soccer
I know how soccer is played.

Australia is a soccer playing nation. The Matildas, our women's national team has been very successful. The men's team is called the Socceroos. Lots of Aussie boys and girls play soccer as a Summer sport.

Even so, that photo looks a bit weird to me.

The picture is a close up of the guys jumping for a ball that has been crossed into the center near the goals and they are trying get their heads on the ball to hit it toward the goal. It is always a mess, a lot pushing/shoving. climbing on shoulders, however you can get your head on the ball...do it. :) This one is probably from a set piece corner kick.

Sort of obvious the coach needs to push the Americans to keep their eyes on the ball and not the players junk.

3 Americans in the picture and not a one looking at the ball.

I just wonder why they were looking at Canadian Junk instead of the soccer ball?

It’s sort of obvious isn’t it about men playing soccer and licking the opponents junk.
