What's on your travel bucket list

I’m sorry but those are all tough decisions to make. I understand why you want to be close to your wife and kid’s graves.
 

Looking at Valencia in particular. Would like somewhere near the beach, just enough amenities to keep our needs met (gym, organic store), but not big cities. Do not like large crowds much. Like the peace and quiet.

I went to Gibraltar in 1957 and again with my wife in 1991. Enjoyed it both times. I have a photo of her feeding the apes.

The first time was in the Navy, They paid me to be there.
 
Hello OneEydedDiva. New England I quite like. Virginia, the Carolinas and Hawaii. My favourite cities, so far, would be San Francisco (top of the list easily), Charleston SC and New York. I do enjoy visiting America. :)

To narrow it down to a favourite state would be a tough one.
 
No bucket, no list, but we'll be off to Norway for the Christmas markets and hopefully Hamburg ( I love Hamburg. ) in spring or maybe Vienna & Bratislava. Such a lot of places to see and I wish we had done a lot more travelling when we were younger.

Ted51, Edinburgh is fine for a few days, but if you're coming all that way, there are some great castles and the like in the area.
 
Personally, I prefer to stay at home. It was my wife who wanted to go on a trip, so after several days of considering our options, we chose D.C. We almost went to Florida, which would have been interesting during the hurricane. I would have enjoyed witnessing all the destruction from the safety of the hotel, but it's probably better we opted for the D.C. destination.

I'd like to go back to Paris and travel around Europe on the high-speed trains. Maybe next year.
 
Family is coming from Poland in June so we will all go to Vegas for 5 days. It’s just a hour flight. My youngest son will be getting married in Vietnam within the next 2 years so I cancelled my trip to France as I have limited travel funds. I’ve already been to Europe 6 times so fine with not seeing France.
 
I'm an armchair traveler. At one time I loved traveling, but lost interest in it. I don't like crowds or flying and especially dislike eating on-the-run, and hotel food. Ancient civilization is my topmost favorite and there are plenty of YouTube videos giving tours of historic and prehistoric sites. I get to view historic artifacts close-up without having to deal with 100 other people trying to view the item at the same time. The image is an ancient Greek bronze statue of a boxer.

Not a damned thing or place.

As a musician, I have traveled extensively, mostly in Europe and to a lesser extent, the continental USA. I have ZERO interest in traveling to Asia. I've made it out to Hawaii some years ago, but that's it.

Tired of living out of a suitcase.

I narrowly missed a chance many years ago to get there. And to Glasgow also. Maybe it is all the novelists that I read who set their detective stories in Edinburgh. One of these days...

I am sure Scotland in general is well worth a visit.
