I'm kind of addicted to it now.. because I can just whip upstairs with the attachement.. and vac all around, without having to drag the heavy Miele and the cable out.. ..so now I'm vaccing every day...

We had a hard frost last night. Goodbye garden. The only flowers left are the cool-weather ones, snapdragons, dianthus and blooms on the camellia. But would you believe that the daffodils are already popping through the dirt?

DS2 died 21 years ago today.

It's past 1pm... its drizzly, grey.... temps are not bad at 54 deg today due to the rain...

had new batteries delivered this morning after ordering them last night... very fast...

Just had a 'fried'' egg sandwich, altho' I fry them in a tiny bit of water to keep the calories down,

Nothing planned for today...it seems more like a Sunday than a Saturday

Weather is a lot better today and we've got two batches of washing done and on to the clothes line. We'll doubtless have to finish them off in the airing cupboard or a quick whizz through the tumble drier. No plans for this afternoon. Might watch a bit of snooker on TV.

I've invited for dinner,{at 6pm} eldest son of my close friends, Marcia&Dave, Dave, Jr & his girlfriend, Cait.We've been trying to do this for the past couple of weeks. Cait is night manager at a local bar,luckily she has the night off. They've never been here, or seen my apt. My neighbor/ church friend,Bill will be joining us as well,perfect way to end the month

Rose at dawn with temperature 38F, layered with warm clothing, got my photo gear pack ready, then with tripod, headed out a half mile to a couple colorful urban photo leaf subjects. But did not think the diffuse skylight looked worth shooting. May walk back about noon since the WU forecast shows only a 2 to 3 mph slight breeze. Need near calm so tree leaves are not moving I need for focus bracket mode consistent registration between shots that will be at my sharpest lens apertures about F5.0.

I woke up to a real temp of 18(F) at 5:30AM. It is currently 37, so I’m not sure we will see the predicted 45. At least the sun is shining. My area is running way below average temps for the next 7-10 days

Tip for all you cat folks…. Trying to give my cat a twice-a-day dose of liquid medication by holding him was, um, Not Working (understatement)

Talked to my daughter who’s the vet, she recommended “Delectables”. Turns out it’s basically pureed kitty food. 1/2 a pkg on a bowl, med mixed in…. Cat scarfed it right down

At least I had a rep[laement for the coffee maker in my stash. It is not easy to find one with thermal carafe and 12 cups.

Last week everything I looked at fell or broke. Plus I managed to pull pizza from the oven and then flip it face side down on the newly washed kitchen floor. It was something like that for 5 days straight.
