Cable bill increased over $7 from last month

TV went up $1. Internet and phone up $3. This also makes the taxes and surcharges increase, also. They have also informed customers that after this month, they will no longer be sending out mailed bills. SOSO - keep cutting services and increasing prices.

The federal subsidy that paid part of qualified people's cable bill ended early this year.

My internet increased by $40/mo.

I don't get cable TV. I have Roku, so "cable channels" are free.
Yep got a wifi connection dump the cable get a smart TV and take control again.

My Spectrum bill decreased by $111 a month. I went from Spectrum Select to Spectrum Choice. It's supposed to be the local channels plus 15 other channels that you choose from a list. The thing is, there are still a lot of channels I'm getting that I thought that I would lose. If someone made a mistake, I'm not telling.

We have T-Mobile as our internet provider, the modem was free. The only increase of $1.50 was for Netflix premium when Netflix raised that service price. Two cell phones with unlimited text & calls anywhere in the world & great internet speeds cost a total of $128.50 a month.
The same kind of service was well over $200.00 a month with Cox cable with no streaming.

My telephone is $27.52 through Consumer Cellular.

Spectrum Wi-Fi and basic cable were added as amenities included with the rent last year. I haven’t had a rent increase so they are still free to me.

The Wi-Fi is very helpful in keeping my telephone data charges at zero.

I disconnected the cable in favor of AirTV and am content with that.

If you enjoy, and can afford, cable services go for it! They just don’t have enough bang for the bucks for me.

By not receiving a paper bill, a customer is less likely to see the little charges that are added to their bill.

I looked into dumping DTV, going to [air] tv, just an antenna but there was so little on it, I looked into that plus streaming . But to get the channels / viewing I like, that totaled up to about the same as DTV.

Two of my three tvs are old. A 32 inch is 23 years old. A like 12 inch was bought in 1997, making it....................almost 28 years old!

My LR tv a 50 inch flat screen, but it's old too. Everything in my apartment is old except the cats.
