I’ve been gone since 1998, retired to Middle Tennessee where the bone chilling days don’t go on for as long.

However, my younger brother still has the small farm our paternal grandparents bought when they came through Ellis Island. His son lives on it and is learning to hold down a serious job while doing some of the farm maintenance, lollol.

My son took this photo four days ago on his flight from Orlando Florida to Dubai. There were lots of empty seats, so he was able to stretch out and catch some zzzzz. However, his connecting flight from Dubai to Bangkok was packed.

Silly mom. She hadn't made up her hair or anything that day when she was doing chores and didn't want me to take her picture but I did anyway, so she struck an attitude. Mom was about 30 in this picture, so I guess I was about 11 when I took it just behind the house out in the country where we lived. Hard to believe that was about 60yrs ago.

aside from the quality of the picture... this photo of your mum could have been taken yesterday. She looks no different in the way she is dressed, or her hairstyle to anyone today....amazing !
If I posted a picture of my family 60 years ago..it would be like looking at pictures taken a hundred years ago, in comparison

these are gardens with no locked gate near my house in Spain, the wildlife are not caged they're free to stroll around, they're very tame..

OTOH...this big girl... is not exactly locked in, and pretty tame.. but she's in the beef farm near my house here in the uk...she seems to be happy tho'in the Byre for the night..she didn't object to having her photo taken..
